I have been to every Wal-Mart, TRU, Target, and every toy seller I can think of in the St. Louis area for the past month. I have come to a single conclusion. You can now find every figure here even the 3 new ones everywhere, but you cannot find a....

DONATELLO!

Seriously, what is going on with this?!?! I wanted to buy a nephew a set and cannot find a Donny anywhere. Are they short packing him for the 3 new ones or is he just selling that well?

Amazon Donnys are 18 bucks, eBay is 15...sigh

I have noticed this in my area as well, as well as the rise in the price of this figure online. I just figured it had to do with his having the best sculpt and the fact that the character is voiced by a voice actor from the original cartoon.

I don't think it has anything to do with the voice actor (though I love RP), or even the sculpt, but simply that Don gets to do some of the best stuff in the new show! He invents all the awesome gear, has some of the most quotable lines (next to mikey), has that whole april crush thing going on, quite frankly, he's likeable!

We now live in a world where nerds rule, it's only natural Don's fanbase is poised to take over the world

It's funny. When these first came out and I went to buy a set it's Mikey that I couldn't find. My cousin ( who is a fan of the movies ) was with me and was dissapointed when I came out of the toy aisle without him. She looked through the other three turtles I had and said "awww you're missing the best one". Fortunately I was able to find Mikey at Toys R Us. I bought both Nick and Classics Mikey at the same time.

Me too, his design is fantastic! Love all the bandages and stuff. Been looking forward to this since the sketches of him were shown long long ago.

I agree, Donnie seems to be the hardest to find. I've yet to seen one. Before it was Leo, and now Ralph seems to be the pegwarmer.

Do you guys think that the rippin rider motorcycle is worth it? I have a lot of turtle cycles from the OT and 2003 line, so idk...I'm going to try to just buy the vehicles that they actually use in the show, so right now, just the shellraiser and sewer spinning skateboard.

My first TMNT toys since about two decades. My one regret? Not finding Dogpound, Metalhead or Fish Face! They are coming dammit! And I fully intend to get a sizable collection in the end.

By you, maybe. Here, in SC, I always see them. That's not to say they're pegwarmers or anything, but when there's turtle stock somewhere, those guys are present.

Haven't looked at my local WalMart lately, but I was at a Neighborhood Market picking up lunch, and all that was there were the 1st wave's secondary characters...no Turtles.

Hey, for those who have found the Classics at TrU, does Don still have the wonky eye?

I've not opened mine up yet, and decided that if Don was fixed, I may leave the one in the package and open the corrected version.

I purposely came into this thread to see if anyone else was having trouble finding Donatello. I looked today at three different stores and they had every other figure (including the three new ones) but no Don. My friend's children love the turtles so I am getting them some figures for Christmas but would be disappointed if I only have 3 of the 4 turtles for them. I seriously can't see it being that everyone wants a Don figure. The stores I went to today looked like they just stocked as the pegs were full and not a Donny to be found...

Wish the TRU that I go to would have the classics haha I have yet to see them in stores and had to resort to walmart.com I'd love to get a second set to keep loose. I was able to get a Raph (loose/complete) on eBay for 15 shipped. Hoping to find the others at some point for a decent price.
