I think his design is the most disappointing in the series. How hard is it to design a satisfying spider mutant? A simple google search for "humanoid spider" returns some designs any one of which would have looked a hundred times better than the fat, Super Mario Bros. goomba we got.

Uh... that is a positive, how? And what does that even mean?

Daniel Craig.

No one would expect that! How cool would that be?

At this point I'd prefer it (is he wearing mascara in that picture?).

Holy crap dude! That's an awesome design, but it's also the stuff nightmares is made of. I guess it could have worked, just a little toonier and cuter looking for the kids show.... but not looking like a Pokemon.

I meant it looks good, it's just unconventional.

I think Newtralizer should be Alopex's boyfriend.

excuse me guys, I have a question about the newtralizer.
where lies his origin?..a friend if mine posted the first images of the 2k12toy a whole while ago and since I have never come across that character before he told me that he read that this is a character that cir brought on the map.ciro actually invented that character somethime when he was around 8 years old and drew him in his sketchbook..and now for this show he got the chance to let his character join turtles lore...
I thought that was an awesome story but never came across any confirmation of it nor any more info on him...seeing now that one of you here posted this most interesting link to a rejected toy design from 1998 with the headline mighty mutanimals new thoughts come to my mind..(let me say once again that I never read any of the archie stuff and only know about the legend that these mighty mutanimals left with so many of you here)...so anyone more info on this one?
thanks in advance, guys...

Well, I can confirm that backstory about Newtralizer. Outside of that, we don't know any more than you do, unfortunately. Many fans speculate the Pulverizer will mutate into him later in the series, though.

I'm not sure about The Pulverizer becoming the Newtralizer. Sure it's a possibility, but if you take a clumsy idiot with no sense of self preservation and give him superpowers he just becomes a clumsy idiot who is now able to do more damage to himself and others than he could before. Getting Superpowers wouldn't automatically make someone like The Pulverizer a badass.

He'd still have to take the time to learn how his powers work and how to harness them effectively. And The Pulverizer isn't a patient person. He wanted to be a hero so instead of taking the time to learn the skills that would allow them to do this, he just puts on a stupid costume and goes and picks a fight with the first criminals he sees. He never once stops to think that maybe trying to fight bad guys when you don't know how to fight is a bad idea. Nor does he ever seem to consider that doing this could very well end with him dying horribly. It was sweet of Donnie to try to teach him skills that might help Pulverizer not get himself killed. Unfortunately if you can't even get him to grasp a simple thing like not trying to fight guys that would just as soon stab you as look at you when you don't have anywhere near the amount of skill it would take to come out of the confrontation with your guts intact then the poor idiot is probably a lost cause.

Having the Pulverizer become the Newtralizer would be an interesting development if it means we see The Pulverizer actually maturing to the point where he can use his power effectively and not just attempt to Leeroy Jenkins his way through confrontations he couldn't hope to win. The Pulverizer becoming an actual hero would be an interesting character development to witness IF they could make it believable.

The show is aimed at little kids, so a guy with such a similar sounding name probably wasn't conincidence. And besides what else can they do with the human Pulverizer character anyway? He's probably going to return at some point...I'd rather him be a mutant than Zack 2.0.

So would I. The Pulverizer as he currently is is pretty much worthless as a character. He's worse than Zack was and I'm saying this as someone who detested Zack. Mutating the Pulverizer could only improve him as a character. And seeing him mature from a clueless idiot into an actual hero would be interesting. But I just hope that's the route they take and don't do something else like turn him into a villain. I can't see the Pulverizer working as a villain. Pulverizer as a villain would make Bebop and Rocksteady look like David Xanatos.

I kind of like the idea of the Newtralizer having the fanboy personality of the Pulverizer.

Now that you mention it so do I. Just as long as he can geek out without being a complete screw up who fouls up the simplest operations. That might be funny at first but it'd get old after awhile.

Very cool looking figure, I think he's probably the best looking villain figure we've seen, way better than Dogpound & Fishface.
