Gah I love it when I finish the episode and immediately have to re-watch it cause it's THAT GOOD!

I was just curious how the OT Turtles handled the battle with Tiger Claw, probably the most hardcore fight of their existence, it probably lasted no more than a few seconds. They probably had trouble walking away.

Its possible after he burst out of the worm he just quickly jumped away and didn't even fight them, the Turtles were probably too distracted fighting the worm and killing it.

Did anyone else bust a gut laughing when Casey confused Splinter for Irma? I don't think I've laughed at a joke harder all season!

Finally watched this episode, I thought it was great, Nice to see Tiger Claw back, The fight scenes were really good on this one. And looks like we'll see more of him on the next episode.

Wow, I really loved this episode. Seeing Karai fight alongside the turtles was epic. And Tiger Claw is just a beast lol. Tiger Claw doesn't care what the odds are, he fights regardless. I was hoping that Splinter would go with the turtles and Karai to fight Tiger Claw.

It could just be how the show is written though. Tiger Claw could have killed her and Mikey, but Nick usually just has certain deadly characters throw someone when they could impale them. Why would Tiger Claw throw Mikey when he could have impaled him with the sword? And Tiger Claw finds a way to get the upper hand, even if it means taking a hostage.

This episode was incredible! It totally makes up for Pizza Face, which, in my opinion, is the second worst episode.
So many fight scenes, and the action was incredible. Tigerclaw is really growing on me! I only wish we got more detail of the 80's turtles fighting him. I hope they're okay!

I'm hoping the 80's turtles come back in a future episode. You can't contain their awesomeness in a cameo!
Mikey was hilarious this episode - not annoying or useless, either. He actually knew how to track Casey and that amazed me! This proves that with good writing he can be funny and goofy but still not stupid. Loved it when he talked with his mouth full and gave a big, inspirational speech. So sad he got hurt.
Karai was perfect this episode. I found it funny that Shredder was like,"Yup, Splinter's your dad - PRISON FOR YOU!" (someone else wrote that earlier and it made me laugh).
Jason Biggs is back! All of the rumors were wrong! Yay!

Season 2 is having a great success. Only 2 episodes I've hated this season (The Kraang Conspiracy and Pizza Face), but of course I don't think I hated ANY season 1 episodes, even if some where way better than others.
I have a feeling the rest of the episodes of season 2 will retain this level of intensity and that the finale will be a big one. Can't wait!

That's the only reason I can think of...well, that and the fact that Shredder would've probably slashed his other eye or something if he'd killed Karai. Anyway, the same goes for his fight with Casey. He had a vendetta against him and April. He didn't "finish the job" or check on his status or anything. He left Casey.

If this had a higher rating I'm sure both Casey and Mikey would've come out of their fights a whole lot worse.

I didn't mind those eps either. With Pizzaface, I still say it was a dream...and imo, I feel it implies Mikey has a slight dark side.

I just loved this episode!!

one nitpick I had was Mikey getting hurt toward the end...all of them were thrown around, so why was Mikey the one all bruised up?? If they want us to believe Mikey got really hurt, Tigerclaws should hurt him really bad.

but other than that ^_^ it was awesome cakes!!!

When the plot was released for each of the next 4 episodes, I felt it was pretty obvious the storyboards were real considering the Turtles have to rescue Karai.

Shredder told Tiger Claw and Karai to destroy the turtles under any means necessary. With Tiger Claw throwing Mikey when he had a chance to kill him, it just seems like it is in the writing itself. Tiger Claw was more than capable to at least kill one of the turtles in that fight, but still didn't. It is just plot armor for the turtles and not wanting the show to get too dark probably.

When Karai betrayed Tiger Claw and Shredder, Tiger Claw most likely wanted to get her to Shredder to see what fate lies in store for her. If Tiger Claw had taken things into his own hands, he may have thrown Karai to her death. Tiger Claw had to fight through multiple dimensions and seems to have tons of rage towards the turtles and wanting revenge. So if he had the opportunity to kill any of the turtles, he most likely would do it without a second thought. Then again, the writing changes that to protect the turtles.

awesome episode. but it does beg the question of what now for Karai. does she continue to struggle with the truth? fight against Shredder on her own or join the Turtles.

and if she is mutated i hope that doesn't last long.

They finally got off the Kraang plot and back to Shredder/Karai. No character held the limelight for too long yet they still managed to fit in a huge cast! Casey got his butt kicked and I'm okay with that since he's been a little too strong in previous episodes. I only wish that Raph wasn't so weak in this one. If this were the Mirage continuity there'd be no way he'd lose a sai to Tigerclaw (or the Mirage equivalent mutant). They handled the meeting between Karai and Splinter so well...and seeing them all flee together gave me goosebumps. That final fight with Tigerclaw was menacing too with the saw blade constantly going right in the middle of the action. SO GOOD! __________________
