Upon viewing those leaked Apritello storyboards again, I see Donnie has a hooded cape in them like his new costume. Looks like THOSE might be legit as well like the Karai ones, unsurprisingly.

I've gotta say, I love all the nerd and pop culture references that go into this show - it gives me a happy.

So with the "Show 301" at the top of Creep's concept art, do you think this means that they originally intended for him to show up in the first episode of season three?

Possibly, there was talk about the season ending on a cliff hanger.

Yes, that means he will debut in episode 301.

Kinda cool that they're going to end the season with the Turtles fleeing the city.

I want to like those designs, because from an artistic standpoint they do look really cool, but...

I am ok with the new designs, as long as they don't become permanent. I just don't see the need to drastically change them so much. I know Ciro said this would be going more along the mirage route, which I am assuming means darker, but hopefully it doesn't lose its playfulness in the process. I am all for dark and gritty turtles, I just don't know if that is the role the show should take (granted this is all just speculation on my part!)

Season 3 is going to be really interesting. Season 2 finale is gonna be pretty extreme if the turtles are forced to leave at the end.

According to the concept art it says the Turtles would be undergoing a vision quest that would encourage them to forge new weapons for themselves and also confront their deepest fears. They are also going to have connection to an element.

It's not going to be like the Turtles are suddenly going to get the ability to bend elements, sorry Avatar fans.

Each of the turtles has taken to wear a hood or cloak of some sort. Except for Mikey who has taken to wearing a bandanna that covers the upper portion of his face alla the Turtle Tots from 2k3.

Raph is connected with fire, and seems to have a tube that shoots fire that comes out from the wrappings around his wrist. His mask looks like it covers his head much like Mikey's does. However it hangs down the sides of his face like Wolverine's mask does. His new weapons are a Tagaki, which are a set of hand held Wolverine type claws.

Leo is connected with wind. His mask is normal, but in he has a cloak that hoods over his head and wraps around his upper body. Unlike his brothers he still carries his trademark weapons, his swords. However instead of carrying them holstered on the back if his shell. He carries them at his side like a Samurai carries his swords. He also is armed with a bo and arrow.

Donnie and Mikey seem to be both connected the element of Earth. As they both have corollary elements.

Then again in Asia the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, & Water are depicted as Fire, Wood, Metal, Earth, Water.

Wood at times being connected to wind.

Donnie is connected to the Mountains which could indicate a connection to the element of earth, or the element of metal. We wears a hooded cloak like he is in the story board. Donnie no longer has his eye mask but he wears a skull like mask that is similar to Casey Jones mask, except his is made of stone. He also has white stripes painted on his arms, legs and possibly his body, as a type of camouflage. Donne also welds a hammer and an Ono Ax.

Mikey is connected to forest so by that regard he is connected to the element of wood. He has a mask that covers the whole top of his head, he also has leafy green camouflage on his face. Unlike his brothers he doesn't have a cloak or a hood, but sode (spalders) teko (gauntlet) and Kogake (Sabatons) that look as though they are made from tree bark. He also no longer carries his Nunchucks but Kama sickles.

Wow, if this going to end up in season 3, it be awesome.

Oh man, that is badASS.

Imagine if some ooze gets into a farm truck(a canister or some ooze contaminating vegetables for markets) and it's taken back upstate into New York, and some farmer guy gets mutated by some dirt/mud/moss?

If they give us another horror episode I'll be so happy.

Hopefully it will translate pretty well on the actual characters. Looks like how they're done up should be pretty cute. (And I just ruined it for many young guys by calling it cute.)
