Best Version of Baxter Stockman? - Page 3

2K3 is to me the best version.They found a way to take the crazed sociopath from the Mirage comic yet take his tragic story from the Fred Wolf and blended it perfectly together. He had a great voice great look with his different robot versions of himself. I also love the Fredwolf version say what you will but the fly gimmick worked magic for the character and really helped keep him in the hearts and minds of fans for alot of years. Also he was pretty sympathetic at the start he wasn't a bad person at all he got kind of ****ed over by the Shredder and the Turtles as well. So he was a much different type of villain that you weren't used to seeing.

Nicktoon version on the other hand sucks he at times feels more like Dr. Polly Doodle or whatever his name was then Baxter Stockman. They even gave the cant remember my name joke to him as well. There really isn't much to him other then bad jokes and references to a better version of himself.

I voted for 2k3 Baxter, but I enjoy all versions.

Yeah, Penny, I would have gone with a tie if I could. Can't wait to get into IDW and see what they did with him there.

I can easily name my least favorite it's Nick's Baxter.

As for the other two - they are so different from each other...almost nothing in common, so I can't choose between them.

Heh-heh...that "**** My Life" image macro is actually something I made, because I had noticed that OT and 2k3 Baxter were a lot alike once you get past the surface differences.

(So I disagree with what the previous poster said. Sure, they're different races and one's a fly and one's a disembodied brain, but they're both egotistical jerks who are blind to their own faults and wh get put through the meat grinder by their respective Shredders.)

Even though I use ol' Cracker Stockman in my avatar, and I love that character a lot, 2k3 Stockman is actually my favourite of his incarnations. 2k3 Stockman took the Wile E. Coyote aspect but created an earnest, serious villain with a consistent personality, more backbone, a whole lot of nightmare fuel, and the ability to wow the haters with one tragic episode. He was also a loveable arrogant jackass.

I used to like 2k12 Baxter a lot, but after a while I got tired of him.
