Not sure about this, R&B seems to be a given at this point that they will show up, it adds two more cgi creatures.

Maybe they are rushing into filming to keep the budget the same, as they think that way the Turtle models won't need any re-tweaks, hence those four (six with Splinter and Shredder) cgi models are already finished.

THIS!
It's starting to get a bit boring now.
Can't we just have two movie topics. One for those who like the new movie, and one for those that don't.
Put an end to all this bickering crap!

I personally, think this is awsome news
Can't wait to start seeing little bits of news and pics showing up through the films production.

I wanna say that I'm excited for the sequel. But I really feel like this instead.

Sometimes the sequel "one ups" the original movie. However, *IMO here* TMNT has yet to accomplish this feat. SotO had its charm, but it never quite topped the original. *I blame Super Shredder. Still wonder to this day as to where in the hell they were they going with that idea.*

The same can be said about the second Transformers movie. I had it...and watched it one time. It was an okay movie, but I liked the first movie way better.

So, I'm crossing my fingers here that I won't feel the same way about 2016 TMNT like how I felt about TF2 and 2014 TMNT.

I *to this day* still haven't seen 2014 TMNT due to..lack of interest. The trailers just left me feeling "..meh" and although I sorta wanted to see it in theaters, that curiosity fizzed out.

I am curious as to how the CGI crew will handle B & R, and possibly Krang. Maybe I might go out and actually see Bay TMNT 2016. But * as of now* I'm still feeling about the same concerning the sequel as our boy Arnie feels about smiling.

agreed with the rest of you I am sick of every 2014/2016 movie thread turning into a bickering thread because of the people like Trick Or Treater. If your not gonna add anything to the discussion piss off.

Yeah, you got your echo chamber already. It's an invite only little club that only people positive for this dumb movie can post in.

Look around, you'll find it. And I'm sure there'll be one for the sequel.

And I GUARANTEE you that if what you described were to happen, it'd be a week or so after filming begins that "positive" folks would start coming onto the "negative" board and tell us exactly why we're wrong.

There you go again, thinking your opinions are more important than others' opinions.

It's true though. Your not really 'adding' anything to the discussion. Your just here to piss everyone off. You dislike the film, we get it. But that doesn't mean that everytime someone posts anything positive you have to add some sarcastic, snide comment in reply.
People like the movie, get over it...

And i realise that this post is just adding to the fire so I apologise for that, but.....urgh! You know?

"I can't wait for the sequel!"

"Loved the movie! Can't wait for the sequel!"

"Oh that sounds/looks/is awesome! Can't wait for the sequel!"

Over and over and over.

Yeah. That sure does add to conversation.

"People didn't like the movie. Get over it."

TrickOrTreater, dude why are you so unpleasant all the time? I'm asking seriously. Everytime I see one of your posts, you're either being overly sarcastic or quoting someone and adding sh*tty little gifs in response. Everyone has prick moments on this board (I'm guilty) but for you it seems to be nothing but. I know you hate the first movie & you've already made up your mind about the sequel but I don't see what that has to do with talking to people like sh*t. You never contribute anything positive. Even others who hate the movie add what would/could be fun & engage in fun convos/debates. You just state that something sucks, and then you're gone. Please sort it out, dude. It'd be nice to get to know you as something besides that dude who sh*ts on TMNT 2014 daily.

Funny how it's only the people that liked the movie that think so.

I've had quite enjoyable conversations with folks here. Folks who don't have sticks up their asses every time somebody insults something they like that is bad.

Also, not that you'd notice or care because it doesn't fit your victim complex narrative, I'm quite super positive on the cartoon over in the cartoon board.

Good for you. I admire that. I gave in, out of sheer curiosity. I had this idea of how it would be bad, or wrong, but even I was wrong. It wasn't bad, it was uncomfortable.

The best way I can describe it is this; It's a lot like hearing your favorite song, sung at a karaoke bar, by someone who can't keep time, and doesn't know the words. The singer acts like their delivering the performance of their lives, but their voice is pitchy, and mostly flat. Halfway through, it's the lyrics to a different song entirely.

In the end the audience claps anyway, because they liked the song the singer chose, not the performance. In their heads they know how that song actually goes, 'cause everybody knows this song, but it's cheese, so you'd never admit to it out loud.

The singer sits down, and their friends slap them on the back, with a resounding "Hazzah!", but as soon as they make for the restroom, their "friends" role their eyes and have a few laughs.

It's not so bad it's good, it's not a just turn your brain off and enjoy the ride kinda film; it has no laughs at all.
The action is bland, the plot is thin, the cinematography is shakey and boring, and the actors are impossibly broad.

It really could have been another movie altogether. If you swapped out the character names, and wore a blindfold, you'd have no ideas this was a TMNT film. None.

I will say this for the second film, they have Dave Green. That could be a big plus. From the little bit on his Vimeo, he appears to know how to tell engaging stories. If the producers can just get the **** out of the way, and the writers work with him, he might do something better than the first. He's a kid, but he seems to be a very very bright kid.

Trick I've already said before I'm fine with people giving the movie sh*t cause it makes it feel more mine (sad but true). You keep saying "victim complex" lol come on dude, I'm trying to talk real with you, turn off the snide for two seconds. It's all good that you hate the film. I can even see why and a lot of your criticisms are on the money. But talking down to its fans & degenerating their opinions, daily, is unnecessary & pointless.

I really hope the sequel turns out better. Cheers.

You can always ignore them, Anyways.

I'm sure we will find about casting in a couple of weeks, As for who will be Bebop and Rocksteady, I bet we won't find out whose voicing them til the sequel is in post production, Even if they have the actors doing the motion capture, You know they might cast known actors as the voices.

Okay, we never had a chance to finish our casting discussion, and seeing as we're off topic anyway...

You really pick left field choices for different characters, so I'm intrigued. Who would you cast for the Following in TMNT 2: April (not Fox), Casey, B&R, and just cause he's in your avatar, and I really like that character, Pidgeon Pete.

Give reasons!

Sounds good! Hopefully they use more of the on location footage this go around. Either way, glad to hear production is rolling along!
