That's one of the biggest lies in the toy industry. Female figures are often the hardest to find and the most sought after. That logic is beyond outdated. Some companies are slowly rectifying this by adding more and more diverse female chacters.

Of course that logic was ridiculous in the past as well. There were always Dukes, Snake Eyes and other male Joes on the shelves back in the day. I could never find Lady Jay or Scarlets.

Eh, it varies from person to person. My sister was a lot like that back in the 90s, though her daughter is a little more tomboyish.

Some girls just enjoy playing with dolls. They don't have to be pressured to play with them.

I never really noticed too much. However, thinking back on all the humans that have been mutated in the course of the show, it's scientifically understandable on some level that they are guys if you think about male characteristics/stereotypes. Pulverizer became a mutant because he was trying to become a super hero, Spider Bytze was the aggressive, nosy, rude male who gets what's coming to him, and we traditionally don't think of garbage collectors as being female. There's a reason the average male lifespan is statistically shorter than that of a female's- they tend to put themselves in situations where they might be injured or killed, and in this case they're being mutated in place of either of those things.

Not saying that that can't or shouldn't change, but I do find it interesting.

I'm not talking about being pressure to play with dolls. I mean how some little girls would sometimes feel pressured by others to have boyfriends, to wear make up or try do other things that would make them seem older.

True there definitely seems to be more pressure on girls to grow up too fast.

Reminds me when I saw some quick clips I think on the Disney channel of kids reacting to some boy band or other male singer(s) in and outside of a concert, or something like that. Some of the girls shown acting all crazy were rather young, I'm going to say around 6 or 7 at the youngest.

Firstly, I find it sad they are being encouraged to act like that. Secondly, in my day that sort of interest didn't really even start up until at least about age 10 or 11. Before that age I could not really have given less of a crap, nor any other girls I knew. Now we've got these young ones encouraged to act all crazy.

In addition to that... I was shocked when I realized the large clothing store I was working at had little tiny bras in the young girl's department. If they were just the regular simple little cloth ones for the fun of it (and some were), or a little more adult-like bras for chunky girls who needed it early, I could fully understand that. But I'm talking about TINY little adult-style bras with the foam cups, albeit a light cup, for girls that won't even have a cup size for a while still. (I swear some brands may have been under wire, but it's been a while since I worked there.) There was a time when these things were an adolescent milestone you were embarrassed but proud to hit. Now, well.. now we can have 6-year-olds in bras that in their case could be considered padded.

It can't be helped as you say, it is sometimes just as easily enough to emulate something like their parents. I know my niece wanted to play with make-up just because it's what "mommy" and "Nana" does
