*sai* .. but aaaaall cartoons are like that. In Gargoyles, Eliza wore the same jeans, t shirt and jacket, in Pokemon/Digimon, the kids always wore the same cloths... even in those Disney flicks, Charlie Brown and Scooby Doo!
All the more reason for animators to think twice what outfits they pick for there characters. |

Anyway, that was probably more than you wanted to know. And April has worn things other than the yellow jumpsuit ("I thought those tacky jumpsuits went out of style eons ago") and the leather jacket and suede pants from later seasons (which I thought was pug-ugly). The dark blue jumpsuit from the original comics and the CGI trailer might be nice to see in the new cartoon. "A Thing About Rats" : April wears a bathrobe "New York's Shiniest" : April wears a pastel-colored dress "April Foolish", "Four Musketturtles", "Super Irma" : April wears a ballroom gown "Leatherhead: Terror of the Swamp" : April wears a bikini |

And there's more:
"Shredder's Mom": April wears a tank top and shorts, and then a tube top dress. "Take Me To Your Leader": April wears a fur coat over her yellow jumpsuit. "Shredderville": April is dressed as a harem girl. "Michaelangelo, the Sacred Turtle": April is dressed as an ancient Egyptian queen. |

Well, April wasn't the only one who always wore the same thing. Same thing went for Casey Jones, plus the mutant pinheads.

Its a simple trick animators use. Almost all cartoons have a "default outfit" which means people when dealing with multiple episodes dont have to try to draw new things for each one and get them mixed. It also saves them the ability to cross-reference stuff.
I mean heck, unless situation calls, even Slayers and most anime/cartoon people wear the same outfit. O_o |

Okay, who wants to put together the list of Turtle disguises?
I'll start: Trench coats (first appeared in "Turtle Tracks") Michael Jackson outfits ("Enter the Shredder") Pizza delivery boys ("It Came From Beneath The Sewers") Michaelangelo in a palm-leaf headdress and grass skirt ("It Came From Beneath The Sewers") Hard hats and construction workers' clothes ("Curse of the Evil Eye") Farmers' overalls ("Enter The Fly") Winter coats and hats ("Beneath These Streets") People masks ("Turtles on Trial") Musketeer outfits ("Four Musketturtles") Sailor outfits ("Green With Jealousy") Donatello as a kimono salesman ("Case of the Hot Kimonos") Robots' armor ("The Big Rip Off") I think that does it up to Season 3. Anyone else care to continue? |

LOL! Everyone's talking about the different clothes that April and the turtles have worn in the cartoons.

Poor Splinter, I think the only thing he got to wear other than his usual outfit was a bathrobe.

Didn't he wear a ninja outfit in The Sword of Yurikawa, when he stole that sword to keep Shredder from stealing it?

All my characters have default clothes.
Mab has a purple evening gown. Cheets has a red tanktop, whistle necklace, and large jeans. Mikelo has a leg/arm wrap ensamble which makes him very TMNT despite me trying not to. (You try putting jeans and shirts on someone who not only has a large tail and shell, but wings to boot. X_x) Levicel and Murtagoy wear...er...nothing. O_o Actually...the only character who I dont have a default outfit is Boko cause I sorta have her wear wierd and random outfits that defy tacky standards. ^_^''' |
