It's from the Advertising Slogan Generator. You type in a word and you get funny slogans. The funniest I've gotten are 'Easy Breezy Beautiful Leonardo', 'Once you pop, you can't stop a Leonardo', 'Nothing Sucks Like A Leonardo'... A lot of the fan girls on this board use this site, it's just funny. Try it here:

For some strange reason I really, really loved the Cyber Samurai figures from the old line. Currently I have em all asides Bebop and I still need one of Mikes fists and hsi chest armour.

Just wondering how many colours did they issue their accessories in? So far I have blue, grey and purple sai's for Raph unless some came with other figures but just using the same mould. I also have a grey vesion of don's bo but have also seen purple ones.

Also does anyone know where i can get decent pics of Cyber Samurai Mikes, Shredders, Bebops and leo's weapons?

Just I may have them but I'm not too sure.

As for favourite toysheres a list of my Top twenty of ones I have (no order of preference)

Antrax
Cyber Samurai Shredder
Shogan shredder
Scumbug
Mutagen Man
Slash
Tokka
Movie Star Mike
Movie Star Don
Movie Star Leo
Movie Star Raph
Movie 3 Splinters/hogan splinter (coolest mould for Splinter EVER!!)
Mondo gecko
Fugitoid
Walkabout (cause he's aussie )
Cyber Samurai Raph (I like his colours a lot for some reason)
Leatherhead
Mutations Bebop (why is he white?)
Mutations Rocksteady

If I had em, muatations footsoldier, Mutations Shredder, triceraton, Robotic Rocksteady and Bebop, Kraang (android), tatoo and Chromedome would be on that list too.

Hi guys. Great to be among a community of Turtle fans at last.
You guys might wanna skip this - it's long. Apologies.

MEMORIES.
I don't remember the date, or the exact time - but i'm pretty sure it was in the Summer. I was being looked after by my foster "minder" - a nice lady called Kathy. She had cottoned on pretty quick that this Turtles fad was a damn desperate one for all us 10 year olds.
Turtles always sold out quick around my neck of the woods. It was scary to get hold of one cos we were so conscious that these toys aren't just "toys" - they're more than that to us and fights could even break out at school over these beauties. They were GOLD-DUST back in the day. They were the Buzz Light Year, Power Rangers or Pokemon of my generation. Everyone at school desperately wanted all the figures. Heck - I desperately wanted a figure. i was the type of kid that was best buddies with the excessively rich kid in school that had EVERYTHING and flaunted it teasingly in my face. And that's where i'd see all the new figures - in the playground oogling at these masterpieces in their greasy, unloving mitts! But i was aware of the fact that my parents would never really allow money to be spent on "toys" - to them, it just WASN'T a viable worthwhile investment (unlike crap exercise books, and maths stationary sets, and ZZZzzzz). This gave me a guilt trip complex (which i still have to this day). it's not like i was "too old". Jeez, parents never understand kids, do they? It had reached the point where i was so mortyfied to ask for a toy that i resigned myself to the fact that I'd probably NEVER be in possesion of anything from my favourite cartoon about those halfshell ninja greenies. And even if they said "here, son, go and buy all the figures you want" - just where was i supposed to go? The figures came and WENT as quick as a flash. They were hotcakes. All hope was lost..

THE DAY I GOT MY FIRST TURTLE FIGURE.
One hot summer's day, outside of my junior school - after school's end - to my amazement there was this guy, man, fella, person, GOD with a SUITCASE full of Turtles figures. I mean, this guy could have been a child molester (not that i knew what they were back then), this guy could have been a shiesty fruedster, a ripp-off merchant, etc but I DIDN'T CARE. This was awesome. This was it. This must have been a signal from the mystic Turtle forces above that i'd finally get a chance to get a figure.. But wait - where was my CASH?! Well, i didn't have any!
DAMN.
I had to live off pocket money hand-outs (as al kids do) and this day i forgot to bring it to school..
SLIPPING AWAY THE CHANCE FOR JUST ONE FIGURE OF NINJA ESSENSE!!!!
But then - remember old Kathy (my generous minder? top of the post-read it!).. She could see i was whetting myself and these toys were selling quick. Even the kids who had the turtle figures were buying MORE and dupes of what they already had.. or getting those rare ones - so Aunt Kathy (bless her goodnatured soul!) could see we had to act fast. She asked me which one i wanted.
SHAME ON ME. The guilt complex was coming in. Minder buying me a toy? What would parents say? Try not to think of it (or the shouting, or the lectures, or the beats for "wasting money"). I had to block it out and GET ONE. AT LEAST ONE!
Which one? I know which one.. Look in the suitcase... Look in the--Where is he? Where??? - **THERE** HE IS!!!!!

Raphael. <--- artist's impression of my exact face moonbeam smile on this GREAT DAY.

At last. i had him. I had a turtle figure, ney - THE best Turtle figure ever made, ever in the History of Toys (TM) (or so according to me!). I had rescued my fav Turtle: Raphael. Sure, i had to battle down the raging, hungry zombie-like-Turtle-chasing kids who wanted their 3rd (!) replacement Raphael figure (so they could break him into teeny weeny pieces in their playsets - AGAIN) - but i had to stand tall and make sure he wasn't going to leave my loving grasp!

To wrap up, that was a great moment in my life. Course, Raphie was opened straight away and lovinginly played with, to my childhood delight! As for good ol' aunt Kathy - well, after seeing the happiness that finally getting my first fav Turtle figure gave me, she kindly later bought me a Michaelangelo and a footsoldier (she couldn't find Donetello and The Shredder that i requested from the fabled "Man With The Suitcase full of guns.. oops, i mean Turtle Toys). I swear, to this day, that man remains a legend in all primary/infant and junior school circuits of the north London Area. People say this man was an urban myth, a figment of my imagination - but i know different I know he was sent from The Turtles to bring warmth and loving to us Turtle Adoring kids. The "Man with the Suitcase - TM" was later seen moving into the top of my road. No doubt the killing he made off us all was enough to buy him a new house.. But what a guy! 'Sniff.

This thread ROCKS. I have a ton of old stuff. I never knew why I really got into TMNT (I was so little I can't remember) but I think I figured it out. One of the few things I remember from like being a 2 year old was a babysitter that had older kids who had like every single tmnt action figure and wouldn't let me play with them. They also only let me watch them play the tmnt arcade game. My Mom told me that one day I just reached out of the shopping cart at toys r us and grabbed a donatello. She told me at first she thought it was disgusting but I guess now she's just more sick of it than anything

Donatello I guess was my first, but not my favorite, Leonardo all the way!

The hardest figure for me to find is Undercover Leonardo, well it WAS the hardest. I finally shelled out a hundo bucks for it

100 BUCKS FOR A TMNT ACTION FIGURE?!?!?!? Dude!

You should've gotten a cheap Undercover Donatello and painted his mask blue.

Hope this will be an ok spot to post this... sorry if it isn't.

I was interested in seeing if anyone new about the metal rpg turtle minatures that were produced during the 80's. I'd never heard of these, but I saw an old advertisement for them in a back issue of volume 1 mirage I got off ebay.

I tried to look some up some information on them using search engines but had no luck. Does anyone have anything to contribute?

I have a buch of them. There were two different scales produced, most of the figures were small 25mm figures, around 1 inch, but the four turtles were also available in a larger size (just over 2 inches each) The small figures were fully assembled except for an occasional weapon. The large figures had to have the arms glued on and the weapons glued into place. The small figures were originally released in baggies on a Dark Horse card. They later changed to a card with a regular blister and the Dark Horse logo and then later releases replaced The Dark Horse logo with a TMNT logo and picture of Leonardo.

Here are the packs of the 25mm figures I have:

#142 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
#166 TMNT #2, Splinter, Shredder Mousers(x4)
#174 TMNT #4, The Foot (four Foot Soldiers)
#176 TMNT#6, Turtles with energy weapons
#177 Terror Bears
#179 Dr. Feral & Henchmen
??? Fugitoid, Casey Jones & Triceraton
??? Triceratons & flying harness (x2)

If you want pictures, let me know.

Thanks guys for posting the information.

I'd be very interested in seeing images of your mini fig collections. I recently got into the palladium tmnt rpg, so it would be awsome if I could track some of these down somewhere.

i absolutely couldnt get enough of the turtle fan...its so awesome to this day....also the technodrome was quite freakin awesome...though a little small. when i go home this weekend im gonna have bust some of this stuff out. i wish i could get my figs to go head to head. armorized shredder could kick the crap out of old shredder, then super shredder would come in and kick the crap out of armorized shredder. old casey would totally devistate new casey. Remember old cartoon casey's voice ? that was menacing enough !

Hello guys.
I'm new here, so my bad if this is the wrong thread for this, but...

I'm 25, and was really into TMNT back in the late 80's/early 90's.

One of the items I still have is a 4-pack containing all 4 turtles.
It is in a box with a clear plastic window for easy viewing of the toys inside.
The box sports the common TMNT logo.
The turtles are exactly the same as the ones released on blister cards.

I have searched eBay and browsed these forums, and I can't find any info on this.
My question is--do I have a rare item? or is it pretty common?

Thanks for your help.

Andy

Instead of starting a new thread for this, i'll ask this question here.

Iv'e heard that the Shogun TMNT are really rare, is this really the case? If so I'm really regretting not buying all the ones they had in this isolated toy store about 7 years ago. I only got Splinter but opened him.

The Turtles, April, Splinter and Shredder aren't that rare but Shogun Shoate and Triceraton are extremely rare and are considered the Holy Grails of TMNT IMO of course. There are also Gold Armor versions of Leo, Raph and Mike that are also very rare for the Shogun series.
