I haven't read this whole thread, cause I don't wanna get any spoilers. But is it true, that the first cover ''Preview'' we saw(In November or something), for tales of the TMNT vol.2, all of the turtles wore different colored bandanas. And now, they're all wearing red, Which I think is cool

I think the bit Don noticed with Raph and the arrowhead was showing how Raph has changed his view about the historical events. You know, considering the "This sucks -- how boring!" hissy fit Raph put on at the beginning.

I also don;t think these worm people and the Mermen in #28 are actually related. I mean, they are two different species! But... the faces did look kind of similar though.

As for the way they drew the Turtles (and even the backpacks!), the style looks similar to how another guest artist drew them. Rick McCollum. He did Twilight of the Ring, and related others.

Ah that would make sense, since it's not really that big a thing, I never thought about it that way, cheers

Great issue, dudes! I've yet to read it the whole way through, but the art alone is awesome!

Well, my comic shop finally got Tales #1, though they still didn't have #13 in! I said I'd just have to buy it elsewhere then...and they made a phone call immediately and arranged to get it in on Weds. 'Bout time too, 14 is gonna be coming out soon!

Anyway...I loved Tales! I enjoyed the artwork, loved the dialogue, and thought it was a fun little story. My major gripe was the same major gripe everyone seemed to have...where the hell did Don get all those water filters and why would he be hauling them all around?! But that's just nit-picking.

I think he was hauling them around in case they needed water but weren't sure if it was ok. And they were trying to find a new water supply I think. It's just odd that he had more than at four at the most

I finally got the opportunity to get to a comic store and grab this issue. I personally loved the artwork. I do agree that the water filter thing was a bit off as to the number Don was carrying, but I liked the overall story. Interactions between characters were really fun at times.

I just finally got this issue, too... FABULOUS!

This is exactly what I've been wanting in a TMNT title. I can't wait to see more!

The 29th is a Monday, new comics come out on Wednesdays. So either it'll be on the 24th or the 31st, if it's not out next week.

The art in this issue was really good, very cartoony, it even looked a bit like the new show. I also liked the fact, that Donatello narrated the story ( the narration on the first page was similar to the narration in the beginning of the new episodes). Since these storys are storys from the past I hope they'll let every issue be narrated by one of the Turtles (or Splinter, April, Casey etc.)

im guessing splinter will narrate the next issue, then i think mikey will do rick remenders tmnt. Then raph will narrate the next one cause its about him and shadow, and leo will narrate the one with cha ocho. This is what i think

Raphael couldn't, he fell on his shell and couldnt flip over so he sat there and died because he couldnt flip off the back of his shell. So no raph narration.
