P.S. David Wise wrote 11/14 of the seventh season episodes and 8/8 of the eighth season episodes. (He also wrote 8/8 of the ninth season episodes, which for most folks are their least favorite episodes. But you might like them.)

And, of course, he (co)-wrote the entire first season, which as we all know is perfection.

Funny you bring this up.
I just picked up a TV Tuner/PVR card for my PC.
I plan on recording the new eps next year and encoding them into divx files. I also plan to share them.

I've heard that it's better to record to VHS first, then rip the .avi or .mpeg files from the VHS source instead of ripping directly from the TV signal. I could be wrong though.

Well, I will be encoding digitally right from a cable TV source. Recording it to tape will diminish the quality IMO. Also, it would be a real pain for me to setup a VCR to rip shows from. With the type of card I have, my PC will act like a TiVo unit.

I was thinking that mIRC would be the best place to share the eps. I might have to set something up with one or more of you guys where I upload the episode to your PC so there is more than one source for download.

Well, the .mpegs could be for personal use (if you have a big enough hard drive) and the DivX for sharing. (That is, if you really needed the higher quality .mpegs.)

If someone needs the MPG he can convert it from divx. And TMNT-files on DALnet is the best place to share them.
