Ninjara - the Sereis and 'Forever War '

-->> Here was my breakdown from Mikey's TMNT News page::..
..most everyone knows this stuff i guess.. but i was doing my best to help fans not exactly in the loop ..

---------------------------------

..Remember 'TMNT Adventures' ended at Issue # 72 however Allen's run ended officially on #70 ..prior to the 'TMNT A. Year of The Turtle' Mini- . .. a little suprise follows ::

-- * @ http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/...es/tmnt71.html

TMNT Adventures #71
..-Shredder Returns from the future bearing a gift !!

-- *@ http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/...es/tmnt72.html

TMNT Adventures #72 ..

-The TMNT's ally;Israei super-hero ..Golani fight off attackers with 'Our Leader'..Saki staring off in the distance !!

-- @ http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/...es/tmnt73.html

TMNT Adventures #73 ..

-Donatello,Katmandu and Al'Falqa fight off some bugs..as Shredder apperantly brings back the Scumbug and Wyrm from the roach motel !!

-- * @ http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/...es/tmnt74.html
TMNT Adventures #74 ..-Leonardo and Ninjara (??) discover a very rat-ridden roof ruled by a certain 'King' !!

-- * @ http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/...es/tmnt75.html

TMNT Adventures #75 ..- What would have been the final issue of TMNTA ..the immortal enemies of Saki and Splinter grace this stunning cover and a falling turtle!!

-- * @ http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/...s/ninjara.html

Ninjara - The Series ..- This one i was not aware of until i now!! Ninjara was a major supporting character for a few years in the Turtle's adventures (as if ya didn't know) ..as the TMNTA was dieing down ,Allen and Murphy's Ninjara was off to take on the world but unfortunately was never to be..however she lives on in furry fandom and a h3ll of alot of TMNT fans' hearts..
---------------------------

..oii.. i musta been real slap-happy typin this shtikK.. but not such a bad rundown for the schizo-snapper, eh ?? ..me smarty..

**Edit.. guess i'm not that smart .. Turkituck sez

After many years and about $40 worth of Furrlough backissues, I finaly have the 3 parts of the Ninjara story line in my possession. If anyone is interested in seeing where Ninjara's life took her after she left the guys, lemme know and I'll see what I can do about scanning the pages. ..

.. ..totally blew me away !! ..that's what i get at updatin' at 4 in the mornin' minus sleep..

Yeah, I really need to get around to scanning those pics <^_^> Well, I'll have full-time access to a scanner after Tuesday, Dec 28th. So I'll see about getting the pics posted by the weekend. Ninjara fans (and the other curious) will probably be able to see them in my Photo bucket archives. I'll post more when I get them set up.

So, looks like this may happen. Can you believe it? How often does something like this happen to such a small group of fans (small compared to other comic book properties).

Since I saw the planned covers I have wanted this. I mean It looks like it would be filled with great art and action and finally put an end to the series.

Soon, hopefully.

Looking at the final covers, I cant help but dread the idea that BOTH Saki and Splinter will die...

I wonder if they are going to make it more adult now that Mirage is releasing it? There's a lot less boundaries than with Archie.

I would bet money that it's going to be more mature than the rest. I sencerely like that fact. I had never actually heard of the Forever War until coming to this forum. Now I'm hearing and seeing things about it everywhere I go! Now it just makes me pumped to actually see this...

And to think... I thought I knew EVERYTHING about TMNT! It makes me sad! No one hate, please!

I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jk.

Seriously though, I stopped reading the Archie series about midway through. I've looked back at some of the covers and descriptions at www.ninjaturtles.com and I must say that it looks like I stopped at just the wrong time. Much of the rest of the series looks very interesting. The covers I've seen for "The Forever War" look fantastic and intriguing as well. I'm definetely going to pick it up. It should be a good read.

My beef with the Archie series has always been that it wasn't the TMNT. It was like they just took Leo, Raph, Don, Mikey, Splinter, and Shredder and threw them into a completely random comic. There was just no elements of what I would consider TMNT in the stories.

But without worrying about that and just accepting them as belonging to their own universe it looks like it got very interesting towards the end of its run.

Darlin', I hate to be the one to tell you this, but in the Future Turtles' time (100 years ahead of ours, where/when this will be based, I'm thinking), Master Splinter has ALREADY passed away due to old age. They said that in Part 1 of the "Future Shark Trilogy" (Issue 42).

But you may be right about Ol' Tin-Skin "Biting the Big One", as they say. We'll just have to wait and see.

Peace.
