Is there non Hologram versions of these cards, that can be scanned? the art work is awesome and I would love to see them more clearly.

Spoiler:
Oh, wow! So cool, Luzmagica. I have seen many of the Japanese cards and even own a few (thanks to that heads up you sent me years ago!), but I have never seen these "Mutations!" series of cards.

The Mutations April is very interesting since the artwork seems to follow the design for the Action Figure very closely. They even maintained that weird phenomenon where April's face, arms, and feet turn into a cat but her neck and chest seem to remain normal! So weird!

Where did you find these?

I have a set of Barrel of Monkeys but they're the 90's Turtles instead of Monkeys. I think I picked it up at a Flea Market or garage sale. I had never seen them before.

Gonna bring this thread back from the dead as I've been scanning some odds & ends. It'd be really fun if others could contribute too! Always loved seeing updates in here, it's too bad a lot of the links are dead now but we can make up for it with new ones.

Here's a sealed pack of Japanese trading cards I've got-

Interesting that you mention that. I just unearthed the both full of old toy documentation that I have been accumulating for decades. I sorted out just the TMNT related items and it is still a rather hefty lot:

One more thing to add to the To-Do list.

Nice haul, Powder & tmntman!

Powder, are you going to open the packaging or keep it as is?

tmntman, I'd love to see more detailed photos of that beautiful lot!

I've got a small lot of Japanese lenticular cards coming in the mail (they are the "Mutations" line like luzmagica posted, which I've found to be some of the most elusive). Not sure how well I can scan them because they have two alternating images, but I'll try to at least share the backs, which have a stationary image.

They're staying sealed. I got them a number of years ago alongside some Japanese plush keychains, both of which are display items in my room. I love JP TMNT merch, have a few different things but want a whole bunch more. Anyway, I already have a loose set of the cards (probably incomplete) so I don't feel compelled to get into 'em.
