Hey all, I wish I could say I've posted the next chapter to Moonlight, but I haven't even started writing it yet...

I was wondering if someone could give me a little insight on the latest review left by Draco's Secret Lover:

Geez, poor girl. That really sucks. And for your story, I love it. But there is just one thing...Donny's getting all the action! Let the other's have a bit! No wait!!! Make Leo and Mickey not like har as they get to know hera as a friend, and have only Raph still have a crush on her, and Donny...who knows. She's waaay to Mary-Sueish now that they all like her, and that she beutiful and blue-eyed and all that.

My question is, what is Mary-Sueish?

And for that matter, does Janine have blue eyes? (Just kidding...I honestly can't remember, I'll have to go over my story again. She's based on one of my friends so I'm quite sure I didn't give her blue eyes.)

Ah, a Mary Sue. Well, it's a term you'll come across a lot in fan fics. In fact there are several definitions, but the basic one is a character you create that is "perfect". Not necessarily really perfect, but the character is generally liked by all the good guys, and hated by the villians, and has few (if any) flaws. This can be good or bad, and we're all guilty of it at one time or another.

Bah, I'll just give this link I found.

Ahhh...okay, thanks. But jeez, I haven't even had the chance to give her any flaws yet! Hee hee hee

Personally, I think Moonlight is just about finished. The story is really meant to be an introduction, now I can use her for future stories.

That's interesting. I'd never heard that phrase before. Good article, too. Thanks for that Kali!

I hadn't heard of the term back when I started writing fan fics (god, how many years ago was that?) I started writing with "What would it be like if I put myself in this universe?" Yeah. Not the best plot idea for a fic, unless it's humor or you can pull it off very well.

How weird...I've never heard of that term. Well, looks like I've learned something today! That's more than I can say about that cursed calculus class of mine...

Heh... oh yeah, I heard of the Mary Sue term in one of the "how to write a fanfic" websites. (I think I posted that here when you were first looking into writing a fic, SC).

I see it as a female (or male, depending on the author) character, that is like you but is enhanced to be way better than you so then you would be admired by the other leading figures in the fanfic. (or that the one that saved you becomes your lover, etc, etc)

I was sort of against those plots at first, cause a lot of other people writing TMNT ifcs did that. But lo.. I finally gave in with Mummer's Dance. Even though I had Heather saving Don, she is the sort of ideal woman I wish I could've been at that time.

Thats right HT, I had read that before. It just slipped my mind.

On another note, I being a bad girl. Rather than working on Moonlight I'm writing another short NC17 story. I hope to have it done sometime today.

Oh no!

Must be a full moon or something, cause my alter ego is pestering me with another NC17 fic too (when I should be writing Mummer's).

I've decided that its just "that time of the month". I wrote "Boys Night Out" almost exactly a month ago. This one has less plot and humor...its pretty much just a lemon. Once again though, I'm trying to do better than some I just read.

Nope. No Italian chick. This is a one-shot, so character development didn't seem terribly important to me. I do want to write a story with an Italian woman. I think Michaelangelo would find her pronunciation of his name cute. "Mick-l-angelo". But, I want to save that for an actual story...not the piece of smut I just churned out.

Anyway, my lemon story is now posted at fanfiction.net. I couldn't come up with a creative name, so it has been titled Lemon. And now, I shall go to bed.

That line was inspired by a little video clip I have on my computer. Its actually a very well filmed little thing, with bad English subtitles. Its man and a woman having a dramatic, uh, "fight" in a forest and features such moves as the Invincible Mouth, and Wonder Screw.

Well, if you just go to the ninja turtles section it seems to automatically display G-PG13 stories only right now. You have to reset it to show all stories. Or you can just search on my pen name, Skeletoncrew. There's only one person by that name there, and its me!

If its any consolation I was quite confused for a while. I couldn't figure out why my fic wasn't showing up. I don't know why they changed the setting like that.
