-Joker attacking the suicide squad with a grenade during the third act
-Harley quinn betraying the joker
-Additional footage of batman chasing the joker
-Killer croc eating what he puked out on the helicopter
-Joker trying to sweet talk to harley while she 's pointing a gun at him

I don't get why DC even greenlit a Suicide Squad movie in the first place.

They should have just made a Joker/Harley movie along with Deadshot and maybe one other character and that's it. Throwing in 10 other characters all in one movie was insane.

Because people love the suicide squad comics, they're one of DCs best sellers and this movie did a wonderful job of bringing those to life.
Yeah joker Harley and dead shot were the stars, but this movie gave the rest some time on the silver screen.

I'm sure we'll see plenty more joker Harley and even dead shot in the batman standalone

Guy has no idea what he's talking about, specially once he starts analyzing character. Plenty of scenes where Leto "felt" like the joker, wayyyyy more than Heath Ledgers. Ledger played a phenomenal role as A joker. But not the joker that is most common throughout batmans history. Leto got way closer to that with a lot less screen time.
"Don't buy Harley falling in love with him" too bad? They showed it? Would there have been that much benefit to spending an extra 10 minutes showing her meet him, try and do therapy, etc, rather than just start where she's still working with him but already in love? No.

I'll give him the scenes could get choppy, but my lord he thinks he knows how to make a perfect movie. Not even close

Literally, one of dcs newer characters that is widely known and loved so much that she gets her own individual comic series when she started as a minor villain sidekick, my god, she is one of the most interesting characters that exist in comics. If he doesn't think that, then he has no clue how to review this movie. Jesus that pisses me off.

And yeah, I agree with him on Harley and Joker's relationship. The intent may have been to show them in love, but not once did I believe it because the origin was rushed and no detail or dimension in the backstory shown. You're easily pleased and relying on comic knowledge/nostalgia to plug in the gaps, but I actually give a s*it about what a casual may think and they had no reason to invest in the "mad love", you were just expected to swallow it.

As a Suicide Squad comic fan, all I can say is hell no to that. Deadshot and El Diabolo were the best things about it, but everyone else suffered from lack of screen time and real development.

Why should I listen to you?
Ayer stuck to the comics, and did a fantastic job of doing so while translating it to a movie. You're impossible to please. As another fan of the comics, I'll cancel out your issue by saying that everyone got screen time, but obviously some more than others because there's absolutely no reason for it to be equal. The team got shown plenty. Every character got enough of a backstory for you to know what motivated them. Besides slipknot.

What in the hell is your complaint about "buying" their love. They showed her diving into a vat of acid for him. There it is. Never have movies needed to provide a play by play of motivational love. In batman begins, i still bought Bruce's love for Rachel from...what, one scene of them during childhood?

And Leto is the closest to the comic joker since the animated one HELL ****IN YEAH. That's the joker right there. Not ledger. Ledger did great in a new interpretation of the Joker, but Leto played closest to The Joker

Comic joker can never be touched. letos portrayal has been the closest to what is most commonly joker. Ledger had a new interpretation that fit better in nolans non-comic, realistic batman world

I thought the movie was great! I thought Harley, Deadshot, and Diablo were the best of the Squad. Amanda Waller was fantastic. The mid credit scene was great.

Loved the Flash and Batman bits.

I have no complaints. I didn't know (or care) much about Suicide Squad before seeing the movie, but now I'm interested.

Lol yeah, probably. I don't know if you're that good of an actor if you have to "get into character" that intensely.
It seems a lot of preparation these actors did was that sort of weird interaction with each other, which I think regardless of the final product was just more laughable than respectable.
