This isn't an error, it happens every once and awhile. Stop posting about it.

The forums have been upgraded from vBulletin 3.0.7 to 3.0.8. The update consists of some minor bugfixes (which is why I'm a little late with this one), but please let me know if you encounter any errors.

I often get "Operation is refused...." when I try to join or even inside the drome.
What could this be?

Probably just a temporary server error. This has been happening somewhat often recently, but our host is working on tracking the problems down. If that happens, try checking back in about 10 minutes or so.

Although a vBulletin 3.0.9 was released, it was a minor update that I didn't have time to take care of, so the forums have instead been upgraded from 3.0.8 to 3.5.0. You may notice some differences right away with the editing form, and there are a few new improvements here and there (try typing a few letters of a member's name when starting a new PM ). There are also tons of improvements to the moderation tools which will make things easier on the mods and I. Anyway, if you notice any errors, please let me know by posting here.

I can't upload my new avatar, this time an animated one. When I'm trying to do so, the "You may not upload animated images." notice pops up.

Well, that is strange for me, because some other users actually have animated avatars, so they could have uploaded them before.

EDIT: And of course, it is within the uploading standards - 100x75 and below 29.7 kbs.

Oops, I didn't know they added a new permission setting for that. It's fixed now.

The forums have been upgraded from vBulletin 3.5.1 to 3.5.4. I've actually been keeping the forums up to date with patches, but I haven't had time to to a formal upgrade until now. Anyway, this update consists of alot of bugfixes and a few new features. If you notice any errors, please let me know.

The forums have been upgraded from vBulletin 3.5.4 to 3.6.2. The differences are mostly on the administrative side, but you may notice some new features as well. If you come across any errors, please let me know.

Now here's something I noticed on another board I post at sometimes. They have this feature, like a "b" between [ ] makes the writing bold and IMG lets a picture appear. They have [Youtube] and it lets you insert a youtube video to click and play. It's quite cool and I'm sure the board would profit from that. So I wanted to ask if there's a possibility and whether you're willing to install it here?

Those are called BBCodes, and we do have some of them already. Here's a list. We don't have one for Youtube yet, but it would be easy to implement, so I would be willing to add it as long as it would be useful.

The forums have been upgraded from vBulletin 3.6.2 to 3.6.3. If you come across any errors, please let me know. After a few days to make sure that there are no new problems with the software, I'll be ready to install the arcade (assuming no new versions of vBulletin are released between now and then).

The forums have been upgraded again, this time from vBulletin 3.6.3 to 3.6.4. As usual, please let me know if you come across any errors. Unfortunately, this release pushes back the arcade another few days, but I'll get that installed as soon as I'm sure that no new bugs have been introduced in the upgrade.

The forums have been upgraded from vBulletin 3.6.8 to 3.7.0. You will notice that there are several new features, most notably the appearance of profiles. I haven't finished configuring all of the options yet, so there are still a few more features that will be implemented. If you come across any errors, please let me know.
