Randi gave Leo a distressed look, "Thats what I wasn't able to find out. I don't know when, but when I left they already had four bombs made. One for the four largest cities in America: L.A., Houston, Chicago and New York."

"You said you were heading to D.C.," Leo said. "We'll help you in any way we can."

((I agree with HT, if the guy doesn't reply, Donnie is hers.))
"Ditto." Mike nodded, "There is no way we can let this happen." Randi gave them all a frown that as far as Mike could tell was not of annoyance, or of anger; it looked like the type of frown one gave when saying 'Thanks, but...' "I can't risk any one else's life in this..." Randi mumured. "You won't be." Mike said quickly, "We'll be risking our own." Randi closed her eyes, obviously deep in thought. |

Raph shrugged. Now this sounded like a good piece of action he wouldn't mind risking his life for. "It's what we do, after all... there's no job or family or kids to live for. Unless Oni is not feeling up to it..."

Leonardo shook his head. "Maybe," he replied to Raphael. "Though I think it's better to let her finish whatever it is she's doing than risk the demon gaining control again."

Thousands of new stratagies entered Randi's mind as she stared into the abyss; how would four more, maybe five, if they waited, help in this problem? They all were obviously good in fighting as Raphael showed, and in stealth... It would be great for breaking into where she wanted to go; but she doubted that they'd agree to her plan, much less comprehend why she was truly going to D.C.
Michaelangelo noted the distant look in her eyes and quickly concluded that she was a deep thinker like Leo and Don. "If, you help," Randi finally said. "You must understand that... that I've been working on this plan for quite a while and... it may sound preposterous, but its truly the only chance." |

"If it's the only way," Leonardo nodded. "Believe me, we've come up with some... odd stratagies of our own."

(OOC: Jeezum ,this sounds like something from the X-files!)
Master Splinter had been on the sidelines listening intently to the situation that lay before them. SP: No idea is foolish, merely different. Please tell us of your plan so that we may assist you in any way possible. |

"There is truly one group that could actually stop this, but since they have died from old age... we have to settle for secong best..." Randi looked them over, "I hope none of you are democrats."
"Why's that have anything to do with it." Mike asked curiously. "Have you not een listening?" "Yeah I have." Mike replied, "Government conspiracies, a bomb..." "I also said I was headed for D.C... to the White House." "The White House?" Mike eyes widened, "To where the President lives?" "To where the Comander and Chief of the United States Military resides, yes." |

(( it's been a full 24 hours... Donnie is offically mine! ))
Don had been quietly listening to Randi's confession, prompted along by Mike's curiousity. The thought of a nationwide attack to turn humans into mutants put him in a state of shock. It wasn't as simple as this Marx may think. It's not going to be BOOM and then the country is now a mutant one. It doesn't matter *what* had been seeded int he bombs... he knew that nuclear bombs were *nuclear* bombs. If the people didn't first just die from the radiation effects, maybe they'll be lucky to live on as a mutant. But there'll be so many people dying under the direct blast of the bombs in the major cities... this danger choked him up from participating in the conversation. Blame it on his research of Einstein, and the scientific discoveries this great scientists had found... the things he read about splitting the atom, relative theories, light and sound. A 'MetaFusion Bomb' didn't make sense... had this Col. Marx gone insane. He's just gonna kill the whole country for the glory of mutants... like Hitler. "Do you know when the attack will happen? If anything else, I can help you get into the systems Marx might use... find a way to make it harder for him to 'push the button'... make it harder for him to communicate to his troops--" Don stopped himself, realizing he was interrupting Randi's before she fully explained what she had in mind. "Sorry..." Don got back up, to walk to the other side of the room while wringing his hands. |

"Mutants," Leo repeated. "No Man's Land," he realized.

Randi let out a heavy sigh and finished the rest of her coke. "I put everything to thought. I couldn't do anything on the islands because one: I was already wanted for certain things and two: I do not want to be the one risking the lives of those citizens... or risking any part of thier lives."
"So you'd rather risk your own life trying to go to DC?" Mike asked. "I don't like having other people's lives in my hands..."

Raph narrowed his eyes at Randi, not sounding to happy about her advice for Don to not hack into Marx's system. "Oh, okay... so preserving an island full of government controlled mutants is more important than saving the United States? Makes perfect sense..." he grumbled.
Don just gave Raph the Look, since he obviously missed the point again. "No... she doesn't wish to make any sacrifices... other than herself," he turned away from Raph. "I see what you're saying... use peaceful measures to stop this attack... instead of an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth tactics." (( okay, no remarks about there being 'no peace' Randi! ;P )) |

"Actually, the way I see it, this is a job for the... other military forces of America." Randi replied calmly to Donatello, "I see myself as a... messenger..."
"Oh, you're just going to tell the President and let him and the army handle it?" "Basically, yes." Randi as she fiddled with her empty coke can before releasing it and watching it foat to the trashcan. "Let them decide the TATICS... I've been doing it long enough..." |

Leonardo watched the soda can float over to the trash. It reminded him exactly what they were up against. "So that's it, just tell them what's going to happen and let them deal with it?"
He didn't like it. He admired Randi for wanting to risk her own life for others, but how could she just leave an entire country to their fate? It was like telling someone they had a fatal disease and you had the cure, but they were going to have to figure it out on their own. |

Raph laughed once, synically. "Yeah... and I'll bet they'll just nuke the mutant island instead to stop Marx. Always seems to come to that..."
Don just bit his lip in thought, looking from Randi to Leo. "We still gotta do something..." he muttered. |

"Basically, I believe that the main Militaries will be able to infiltrate the Islands and find those that are part of the... Mutiny, exscuse the pun." She said, "They may even be able to retrieve the information involiving the time and locations of the bombings..." She sighed, "Besides, I'm sure that Colonel Lepummel and General Matterhorne will be glad in helping the Main Military's of ridding the island of any rebels."
"I highly doubt they'd actually nuke the island." Randi then replied, "Too much scientific research is done there; plus, if they 'nuke' it, they'll be bombing their own property..." |
