Well I started Mirage last summer. When I was a Kid, and a Big TMNT cartoon andarchie fan, I knew that there was a Black & white comic book, but probably wouldn't have been intrested in it. Im glad I found it last summer and bought the whole volume 1. And volume 2 should be on it's way soon.

Pointly post about the cameos
Yesterday I was watching Oliver and Company on WB for lack of better programing, that and I like the songs (love Joel and Lewis) anyway during dogers song we get 3 dogs from lady and the Trap and Pongo from 101 Dalmations. They don't do anything but they are using the exact same chacter moldes.
This would work in the new show, we don't really need the chartes to do anything but to maybe have Irma or a human bebop in the backgroud of one ep would be a nice tribute to the older fans with out detracting from the story. Like having Channel 6 be on a TV screen for a second, nothing big just something that sharp eyed older fans may find entertaining.

Yea, that's true, just to bring back memories, but like not necessarily making fun of it.

Karpo, I probly asked you about a thousand times, but what website did you purchase the entire volume 1 on?

I used two. Most of it I bought from here: www.mycomicshop.com It has almost all, and price isn't really bad. the rest I bought from www.milehighcomics.com . It has most of them too but prices are bit higher.

As for the volume 2, Im ordering it from Mirage studios directly.

It has a real plot, It has more fights just about everything. You can read the First issue at official site. The first volume has many issues done buy guest artists too, some of those are really good, some not so good. But as a whole, it's really worth buing.

People die in it. Not only villains in fights, but supporting characters are not safe either. *tries not to say too much, since I don't want to spoil anything for Karpo, depending on how much he has read so far...*

I got hooked on the Mirage comics last year. I agree with Karpo... Some of the stories are so amazing they made my jaw drop. Good stuff. Now I'm trying to collect as many of them as I can...

Hmm, mental note: order some old TMNT comics, maybe find some in some comic shops around here.

...

Another mental note: get a job.

My one beef with the Mirage comics? April looks fscking UGLY! I mean, DAMN!

Never saw her in the comics, as I don't have any yet, but looking forward to getting them. All I know is that they really destroyed her appearance in this new show...what a shame, lol.
