Yeah, me, too, once I get the money for it. Despite the still-screwed up title, this box-art is MUCH the better and superior of the two releases.

Wonder what the face of the disk will look like, though? Plain grey, like the North American release had, or with some kind of art, like the Lionsgate OT Toon and the 4Kids 2K3 Toon DVD-releases did? Just have to wait and see, I guess.

(Thought it would be nice if someone who gets this posts a pic of the disk-face for is, once they've got their copy. Hint, hint, hint.)

EDIT: To those of you that pointed out that I messed up when I went to write "DISK-face" (especially you, gobo!), I thank you. And mistake corrected.

I was in HMV looking for this yesterday. Got no idea why, but for some reason I got it into my head that it was out this week. D'oh! Can't wait to see it properly, I only ever watched it on youtube, to be honest.

Did anyone ask Nick if this is getting a U.S. release?

I just saw a trailer for the dvd on amazon, which says "Full length version in anamorphic widescreen". So I guess that it is now confirmed for sure that this version is the uncut one

I already pre-ordered. That one website said it should be in 4-4-11, the other sites said the 18th so we shall see. I believe it takes a week to get from the US to UK.

I get the feeling this may get a U.S. release very soon. They wouldn't put all this work just for a European release.

mmh...
I have this DVD here from the first TMNT Movie, which includes an Audiocommentary by Steve Barron and the extended Ending...

Has it already been released in the States

Btw. I think I heard/read that Nick didn't even plan to release Turtles Forever in the States at all, but thanks to 4kids beging they at least released the editited Letterbox Version. SO it seems to me that they didn't have any interest to release it properly in the US at all...

The US fanbase will ensure it gets a release over here. The 4kids series wasn't even popular outside the US.

The fact that they could have just released the cut version of TF over there, but they're doing an uncut one, it would make as much sense to get it released over here to make more money.

As I said, I don't know why the people who were invited to Nick's event didn't ask them any DVD questions.

I'm thinking maybe Nick DID get the info that about the Full Version AND the better poster DVD cover back before the first DVD's release, but the DVD was already too far in production and they were too lazy to change it. Thus, we got the cut version with the lousy cover. Since production on the UK version didn't start until recently, they obviously had the uncut version and the awesome poster to use already and decided to use the favorable options for that version. Whatever the case, I'll definitely be importing this. It's about time Turtles Forever got a decent release.

I think Nickelodeon had the uncut version, the poster, everything and more. But instead of diggin' around, they lazily slapped a recycled 2K3 poster on the cover and the cut version on the DVD. Then they made their menu (which probably cost them half a penny to make) with the recyvcled 2K3 art.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I did NOT write that, gobo! I never, EVER use THAT kind of language! EVER! Mainly because I am both a born-again Christian AND a lady.

(Besides, my mom would absolutely KILL me for using that kind of language!)

I don't know who did, but I would really appreciate it if it did (does) NOT; I repeat, NOT happen again!

It looks like, in the first post of this page, you said "dick-face", but meant to say "DISK-face".

That's a heckuva screwup you made there.
