I've always loved pizza as one of my favorite foods, but the turtles probably made me like it more XD

The TMNT 1987 series most likely brought pizza back into prominence.

I have to admit that I have wondered about the idea: Did pizza become even more popular than it was because of the 1987 TMNT cartoon? I even thought at one time to do research on pizza sales and everything but I still haven't done it.
I remember very early on only eating the crust of pizzas! Crazy huh? And this was during the beginning of the 1987 cartoon. But eventually I switched it around and love eating pizza! It's now one of, if not, my favorite foods. In a few pizza places, I don't eat the crust now! So I'd like to think the turtles were a part of me liking and loving pizza.
