I had an orange goldfish named Michaelangelo. It didn't live too long though.

We and 3 of my friends had the turtle club. I was Leonardo and my friends where the others. Mikey had real nunchukus because he was in karate class. Raph had a real pair of hand me down sais. Donatello had a staff we made from wood. I couldn't get anything close to a sword though so I used a broken radio antenna. How ghetto is that?

We had different lots of woods around the neighborhood - 1 named for each of us. Leonardos Links, Raphaels run-about, Donatello's domain. We couldn't come up with anything good for M so it became Michaelangelo's movie theater. How lame is that? lol

There was this one kid we hated so we rode out bikes around and pretended he was Shredder. It was hilarious.

As for the side View Askew convo going on- I have Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and SIlent BOb Strike Back and Clerks Uncensored all on DVD. Clerks is still my fave, but I love them all. "I'm not even supposed to be here today!"

Hmm... that could be interesting. I can't help but shake the feeling though that April would be a lesbian, Leo and Raph's tension would be explained as repressed homoerotic love for each other, and Mikey would be a huge stoner.

I love Kevin Smith and everything but every once in a while he goes a little screwy with other people's characters when he gets the chance. Like his script for Superman. There were way too many sex jokes and gay robots for a Superman movie.

"Hay look a fellow Robo." bum
"Wha'd you call me!?" bender
"A Robo, a homeless robot." bum
"Oh, ok, I thought you called me a Romo." bender

That was not turtles related and this is the string of events leeding to that,
Kevin Smith movies=good-->the longing for a Kevin Smith turtles comic--> Kevin Smith's use of creativ licence ---> Kevin Smith's superman script--> eledged gay robots in the script. Lazy+Robot=Bender.

I recall drawing a cat with a mask wielding nunchucks and calling it Kittyangelo.

Uh, other than that...most of the silly TMNT stuff I do is the stuff I'm doing now. You know, hosting art contests, writing NC-17 fanfics, that sort of thing.

Actually, and I don't wanna start an argument here, MTV with Real World and Road Rules started reality TV. Survivor is basicaly RW smashed with RR in exotic locations and money. The 'reality' shows on now are more like 'X-Treme' gameshows, and in a way, RW is the only 'true' reality show left. Eh, oh well, I have my guilty pleasures too... *coughbigbrothercough*

Hay when your right your right, you won't get anything more then a heated discussion from me any way, and thats only if I actualy, and strongly believe somthing is wrong. But, Road Rules and Real World were first by many years, but now its on almost every channel!

Real World isnt so real though, who just gets those kinds of homes and jobs and what not just droped into their lap. It makes for the entertainment, good call on my bad Gwgtrunks.

I beg to differ
Reality TV shows, they are garenteed to lower your IQ, I watched an episode of meet my folks and now I think I spell garenteed wrong.
But I don't include survivor in the above statement, I will not speak ill will of the show even though it started the wave of crap. It was a briliant idea at the time that people milked to the bone, and then some. I like survivor, its a guilty pleasure.
I also believe that it is clearly obvious that learning how to ward off an evil brain creature with a Napoleon complex and a japanese man who thinks hes a kitchen appliance is wayyyyyyyy more inportant then learning about extream situations in every day life living in New York City. I mean really where are you gunna find people living in apartments in a city swarming with people?

Yeah I love shredder, I was mearly making a joke, ie kitchen appliance. Krang, well I mean it with love, all about the love. Nothing aginst friends I concur, it is pleasurable.

well, honestly, all and all I really dislike TV, having grown upn in the former USSR where we had 3 channels, all the freedom of cable and such is all new to me, and I watch most of my stuff on the computer, I will admit, I mean, I obviously I like TMNT better than the sitcoms, if friends or TMNT were on I know what i'd choose, I was merely making a point that in the long run, it's all unrealistic and not teducational so to say one is so much crappier than the other which someone i believbe said earlier, is kinda silly cause in the long run, they are all just good ple' entertaiment.
As for Surviver, I don't like it, I neevr liked reality TV, if I do watch TV, I want it to be fake as possible, thats why it's TV, right?

I completly understand the point you were tryin to make, I myself was pokeing fun , at TV's expence. Moomintroll, I know you'r justified, I've seen you around the technodrome alot, you'r honest, so I respect you in the sence that you are a quality technodrome member and Turtles fan!!!!

Any way TV is ment to be fake, and survivor isn't for everyone. But if you think about it, survivor is tries so hard to be reality TV, its completly fake. When does anything REMOTELY like that ever happen? We should have relaity TV of someones real life, buying turtles toys, watching turtles toons and playing turtles games. "E true Hollywood Story: Life of a TMNT Fan"

Now I am going to attempt to bring things back on topic. My friend Stef and I put the turtles masks on carried weapons and ran through the malls. Not onlyrun but do regular shopping too!!!

Hahaha, though it wasn't turtles, I read Three Musketeers when I was 6, so I wore my grandma's straw hat with a huge purple flower and a blanket as a cape, and carried a tennis racket as a sword.... I wanted to be a musketeer...
When I was into the turtles, I was 11, and I didn't want to BE a turtle, but I wanted to be a ninja, so I'd wear all black and "lurk" while my mom would shop, and when she'd be done and ask me while I was hiding somewhere in the corner of a store, "what are you doing Susie?" and I would say "Shhh, mom, I am a ninja, I am lurking and being invisible"

edit: I think I still do that

I had a pet turtle for 10 years . She was a quick little devil, because she has bitten me a couple of times.

So today I went to Kids R Us with my nephew, he got nothing, I got my self a Raphael shirt in drak dark blue!
YAY!
I was asking my mom and my cousin "So should I get, yellow, red, orange or light blue?" and my mom goes
"Wait, aren't you turning 22, or am I going senile..?

But thats ok, my roommate thought I was insane last year when I covered our room with Labyrinth pictures of Jareth, so this is a step up

I still do crazy stuff. I have a stuffed turtle I named Donny, and I always have him with me when I watch the new show.
