I have a feeling Donnie will say in the final

I hate how Nick's been handling action shows lately, this is the third time they've spoiled a show for us. First time? Showing scenes of book four from Legend of Korra for a promo of book three

Well, I was worried about Mikey's character in this show but they can do great things for him when they want to, this was a great episode for him and actually made him like able for me, hopefully it sticks but...Hopefully they'll give a good one for Raph too soon

Poor Leo, just hasn't been a good year for him

Good episode, can't wait for the final

Actually I got a Narnia vibe because they had that moment where Lucy goes into Narnia and she is gone for hours. And when she gets back to her world she she learns only seconds have passed since she had entered the Wardrobe.

How long were the turtles gone? Have Splinter and April been searching for them for weeks, or in the case of Mikey, months? I'd like to see that addressed.
I don't think any time as passed for Splinter or April. While time runs faster in Dimension X such as Leatherhead being gone for at least six months now telling the Turtles that he had been in Dimention X for decades.

Or sever months passing in the span of several seconds for Mikey. So on Earth no time has actually passed since they have entered it Dimention X itself.

Fun episode though it would have been better if it was a two parter.

Technically it is a 2-parter, since the next episode deals with the Kraang coming to Earth and Leatherhead sticks around.

If that was the case then we would have a three parter since the next two episodes will be a two parter.

All three episodes are still a part of one continuous story, whether they're named accordingly or not.

Did this Mikey remind anyone else of the 'Same as it Never Was' 03 Mikey? It was actually kind of badass!

Hey, I hadn't thought of that one!

I think those little buggers were based off a robot that appeared in some of the early Mirage Vol. 1 comics... maybe they were part of the TCRI security?

Yes, my only nitpick would be, that the first part could have been just Mikey trying to figure out Dimension X (out of all of the Turtles, Mikey has to be the only one we really have't seen go off on his own too much like the other three do.) Then the second part could have been what we seen. I would have done that and just completely scrapped China Town Ghost Story, because that episode did nothing, in terms of character development or story improvement at all.

Loved this episode. Mikey's always been my favorite and one of my only real complaints with the Nick series so far has been that he doesn't get the same kind of solo attention or push that the others tend to get in terms of his ninja prowess. This episode was great for rectifying some of that.

Leatherhead was fantastic as always and I can't wait to see his role in the defense against the invasion. It would be awesome to see way more of him and Mikey teaming up to trash their enemies.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes, and by a longshot my favorite Mikey episode.

Season 2 has had so much filler, but when they actually have an episode contributing to the story, it's SOO good.

Okay, I haven't seen the episode yet because of that different country stuff. But a friend has seen it and because I was really curious about the time difference she told me everything that was said about it in the episode. She mentioned Mikey had been there for months or hours, he wouldn't really know and Leatherhead had spent decades in Dimension X. And apparently Mikey jumped through the portal first with his brothers coming right after him. She couldn't really remember but she said the difference was at most 15 seconds.

That's all well and good, I pretty much assumed that Mikey was there for a few hours from the start and he was just exaggerating. But I was really surprised when I saw the majority of people claiming he was actually in Dimension X for months.

Huh. Okay, call me what you want but I really did some math.

"Months" is pretty vague and could mean anything, but just to show the ridiculousness let's assume a low number, like 3 months.

So, we have (maximum!) 15 seconds = 3 months.
One minute would be 1 year then.
One hour are 60 years.
One day are 1440 years.
One year are 525600 years.

I don't know how much time passed since Leatherhead got trapped in Dimension X but if it was just a year he'd been there for 525600 years. 'Decades' doesn't really cut it.

And that's just assuming 3 months. The more you increase that number the more ridiculous it gets. And let's not even get started on the fact that Donnie jumped through the portal a few seconds later than Leo and Raph but they arrived at the same time nonetheless.

But let's assume Mikey has been there a few days, like 7.

15 seconds = 7 days
1 minute = 28 days
1 hour = 1680 days (4.6 years)
1 day = 40320 days (110.46 years)
1 year = 14716800 days (40320 years)

Still kinda hard to believe.

Okay, let's take a really short time, like an hour.

15 seconds = 1 hour
1 minute = 4 hours
1 hour = 240 hours or 10 days
1 day = 240 days
1 year = 87600 days or 240 years

It's still too much to speak of decades, but at least we're getting there. You could make this actually work if you reduce the time since Leatherhead has been trapped in Dimension X.

If I made a mistake somewehere you're free to correct me, as I said I haven't seen the episode yet and those 15 seconds I base everything on are from my friend. But even if you reduce that it would just increase all numbers, thus making it more outrageous.

Or... Maybe I'm just looking too deep into this...

I'm not really sure it can be calculated... It may just be completely spontaneous... Donnie threw a rock and it just came back around... The laws of time and physics appear to be completely unstable in Dimension X.

Or, it's just a kid's show, so they are not going to put that much thought into it. Just the fact that time is sped up faster in Dimension X, and that somehow manages to make bodies age faster too. I wouldn't be surprised if Victory Angel is correct, in that once they come back, it's like they never left and are back to their same age, they just will retain the memories of their experience.

It can't really be put into complete stat, however, this does now explain how the Kraang were able to come back so quickly after their "destruction" in the Season 1 finale.

Hm, yeah that thought occured to me too while writing this. I calculated all that under the assumption that the time difference is a constant value but maybe it changes every moment. Like when Mikey jumped through the portal time passed really fast over there and in the few seconds Donnie hesitated time suddenly stood still in Dimension X.
Everything seems possible, really.
I recall my friend saying that at the end Donnie said it would take the Kraang months to rebuild everything they destroyed and when asked how long they have in the real world he said hours, a day or something. Which just raises more questions...
So yeah, I really shouldn't think about this too much.

If that's true then why is Leatherhead still all gray in the trailer?
