Doomquest was awesome!! Dregg was exposed, the Turtles had a possible cure for their mutations. It wasn't a complete finale, just a cliffhanger. Spider-man did that too at the time.

They could have made the story arcs much longer and resolved the season 8 story arcs such as H.A.V.O.C.

Does anyone happen to remember how 52 Saturdays got filled with only 8 episodes during season 8? I know that during the 10th season, there was episodes from the 9th season that they re-aired to help fill out a whole year. I would assume that the same thing was done during the 9th season. There was probably repeats from the 8th season that were used to fill out that year. But does any one remember what they did during the 94/95 season? Did they re-air some of the older episodes with the older style, or did they just air the 8 season 8 episodes a million times?

They used to re-air Season 9 and 10 together as one season I recall.

I don't remember how they did it during Season 8, as I don't think they re-aired any Season 7 episodes after the revamp.

I don't know about other countries, but in Ireland, the cartoon was usually re-run from the beginning on weekdays every now and then in the 1990s after the latest seasons aired.

In my country, it was re-run several times on cable from the late 90s to the mid-00s. That's how some people born in the early 90s like me were able to watch the FW series when we were kids.

The one time I noticed it happening here, it aired Get Shredder with Season 6's Snakes Alive. Sadly it never happened again.

Nearly the same thing happened in Ireland. The cartoon was regularly re-run on rte two from the mid 90s to late 00s. That's how I was able to watch both the OT and 2003 series at the same time in the 2000s.

Yea, I think the FW series was still being re-run here between 2003 and 2005. Not sure, though, since I had already watched each episode several times and had every of them in VHS.

Man you guys are lucky, I remember by 1997 the original toon was no longer on the air at all because of Next Mutation.

We never had it on reruns again after Next Mutation debuted.

It aired on USA Network sometimes but rarely. They were phasing out their cartoons by that point, but they still ran TMNT and Sonic SatAM once in a while. I stopped making it a point to catch it by then but it was still on. Really lousy timeslot as I recall, pretty much just aired it when they felt like it.
