Can we let a human villain in this show finally stay human for once? Its bad enough Karai was mutated (even if its probably only temporary), but to see Hun mutated too would be awful.
The only way I would like to see Hun contaminated with mutagen is if it somehow makes him muscular and gives him blonde hair, sort of a "Hulk-like" transformation rather than to an animal. |

It was nice to see the show being consistent in remembering that an alien invasion had happened. I wonder what other ramifications will this lead into other then seeing EPF?
Hun didn't really wow me. It was more like "so this guy is suppose to be Hun." It was a little odd seeing Casey going after Shredder despite might hearing/seeing of how vicious he is after being around a cripple Leonardo for a few months. It was similar to how Mikey should have know by now of how important the retro mutagen was and wasn't something for him to play with. Was Shredder serious with a straight face in saying that Fishface is head of latin america gangs? Really Shredder?

He actually said "South Americans". I don't really expect a kids show to accurately depict organized crime. I applaud them for doing as well as they do. The 4kids show and IDW book have the cheesy "perfectly ethnically balanced" Purple Dragons.

Did anyone notice if they saw Mutagen Man in Donnie's Lab, I couldn't tell due to the bad quality stream.
Also does anyone know who voiced the italian mafia fat guy, he sounded really famililar.

You ever notice Casey is a lot more entertaining in this show when he's not fighting over April with Donnie? Casey spent more time in this series interacting with Don over Raphael.

I suppose with his brother, he is more of a liaison to South America and has some control with the gangs station in New York. Still South America is a big ****ing place. The Cartel would want have a word with you Shredder.

No, Donnie's entire lab was confiscated by the Kraang, although I think the EPF confiscated it in my opinion. Mutagen Man is either in a military base or in Dimension X.

Same, I think he got snatched up by the EPF for research. Donnie was (probably) just assuming that the Kraang took his stuff

Have not seen it yet but I am curious, is Tatsu and Hun melded into one character in this series?

And for most casual fans of the show, the dark raph arc will be a surprise....only people who frequent the boards know of this. I'm sure a lot of kids who watch this have no idea |

No, Tatsu was Japanese; they made Hun a Chinese in this series, or more specifically, Bruce Lee.

Welp......we were guessing how they were going to work in the "Dark Raph" arc and I think Donnie just gave us our answer. But, how EXACTLY did Donnie KNOW it was a mind-control serum? I'm no chemist, but that seemed a bit too plot-convient for my liking. What, did it say "this serum will alter the brain of anyone you pour it on, making them completely under your control" in really really tiny wording?
(Trying REALLY hard not to sound like a whining troll here, guys, so apologies in advance if I fail). Still, I'm glad we got to see Casey being Casey and not the rival for April's affections, though we did see him looking at April from above. Speaking of which, I wonder how she organized that little soup kitchen deal? Did Kurtzman have a hand or did the non-brain controlled EPF members set it up? Back to Casey. I loved the "Pain 101" ref, love to see how he's upset of being sidelined, and am glad he's going to do his own thing instead of being the tagalong for the Turtles. As for Hun, he seemed much older than I gathered from the NYCC animatic. At first, I thought he'd be a skinny teenager, but he seems more mid-20s. Kind of like that, though the Bruce Lee refs were a bit heavy-handed. And the "ooooo--waaah" Kung-Fu cries made me cringe. Still, Hun had a decent debut and it'd be nice to see him stay human. Now, I know it's confirmed that Raph will be mind-controlled, but I SERIOUSLY hope it's not like the monotoned, robotic "I-am-under-your-power-because-my-mind-is-like-a-machine-and-must-obey-every-command." To have it be like the Dark Leo arc and Raph is forced to think Shredder is his real father or that his brothers betrayed him and left him for dead or something like that would make it so emotionally great. Someone mentioned earlier how if he used it on DONNIE, that would also be a good move, but only if Shredder finds out about from Bebop and Rocksteady that the Turtles had access to retromutagen. This throws my "torturing Donnie" theory out the window, but that might have been for the best since it would have been considered too graphic....unless they're going to do a watered-down version of issue #44 where Bebop and Rocksteady confront Donnie.... (I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about, but for the sake of spoilers, I won't go into great detail.) We've already seen some pretty messed up stuff on this show as far as scary imagery goes, so it wouldn't surprise me if they went deeper into emotions and intense scenes. And Ciro Nieli also worked on Teen Titans and that got a bit intense, like in "Haunted" when Robin was being driven mad by "fighting" Slade. There was one point where he was so battered and bruised, he was trying to crawl away, but Slade dragged him back in and dealt a few more blows. Or in "Trouble in Tokyo" when Robin pummels the paint monster (forgot his name) and is splattered with bright pink paint which the cops mistake for some type of odd blood. And don't even get me started on the Raven/Trigon story arc.... So Ciro isn't afraid of pushing the envelope and if we did get a scene like in #44 where Spoiler:
Ok, that went off topic, but I would like to see some emotionally intense moments like what we got in Teen Titans since the same guy is on board. I just hope we don't upset too many parents with "Screwing up their children."

So um... what happened to Bebop and Rocksteady in the last episode? I missed it, so is there any particular reason they weren't among Shredder's men in this one?

Very good episode, Hun was a fun edition, and I like the twist at the end, 8/10. Although I hope that they don't go with the Dark Raph arc.
