NECA TMNT Speculation Thread. 2016 and beyond - Page 4

Lil Karai · 05-18-2016, 07:13 PM

Hm so Randy said the "there is a reason" the announcement will be on a Monday. Typically on NECA's Twitter feed Monday's are "Monster Monday's", so I'm guessing Monday's reveal is horror or Kaiju related.

We are about a month and half from comicon. I would expect we will be seeing updates on the Q scale Henson turtles soon (sculpts of the others, accessories for Donnie). Then maybe teasers of what they will be showing at SDCC.

At this point I am confident that we will be seeing retro video game turtles for their video game appearance line.

Update* but WAIT! Isn't Monday the release date for Mutants in Manhattan?! Omg I'd die and go to heaven if they are doing a line of toys for the new game.

Mutants in Manhattan is Tuesday, but still super close to that day!

Regardless, I hope we see a #MutantMonday hashtag from NECA. I'm beyond excited about what they'll do with TMNT.

Lil Karai · 05-19-2016, 11:08 AM

I just found out World Turtle Day is May 23rd. The signs are looking good for this to be a TMNT related reveal!

Lil Karai · 05-20-2016, 01:31 PM

Sorry for the double post but the signs are looking good.

*Chris* · 05-20-2016, 06:51 PM

Really hoping for something in the 6-7" scale

Bran The Man · 05-23-2016, 04:39 AM

Chances are whatever NECA announces today may be comic or video game related. I saw that they tell someone on Twitter that they won't announce any more movie-related TMNT until after the release of Donatello.

*Powder* · 05-23-2016, 04:57 AM

Anything at all works for me, I just wanna see this train at full steam.

~~Mew~~ · 05-23-2016, 04:59 AM

Am I the only one that wants to see 1990 movie TMNT in the 4 inch Playmates scale? I have room for that, not 4 7" Turtles, or the other characters.

Raptor86 · 05-23-2016, 06:13 AM

I will be sooo disappointed if it's not TMNT related...c'mon, today is World Turtle Day!

Lil Karai · 05-23-2016, 09:24 AM

First teaser!

Raptor86 · 05-23-2016, 09:28 AM

Bran The Man · 05-23-2016, 09:29 AM

It looks like the full reveal is going to be at 12 EST, so in about 90 minutes.

Lil Karai · 05-23-2016, 09:30 AM

Raptor86 you made me lol! Hahaha!

EddieNES · 05-23-2016, 09:41 AM

Already excited about that color foot.

Raptor86 · 05-23-2016, 10:14 AM

They said also it is not NES or SNES related...

Maybe Genesis Hyperstone Heist?

Raptor86 · 05-23-2016, 10:29 AM

Could be...the color looks similar

Turnstone · 05-23-2016, 10:32 AM

any chance it would be the original Konami Arcade Game? Not the NES one but the actual arcade game?
