Counter-Clock World - Philip K. Dick

I like the concept, but it's a bit hard to follow at times. At least I avoided kicking myself in the pants for going into it with high expectations.

My Wonderful World of Slapstick by Buster Keaton and Charles Samuels. A very entertaining look into the life and mind of my favorite actor.

The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor novel by Robert Kirkman & Jay Bonansinga. Rather enjoyable, pretty cool to see how the most evil character in the comics came to be. Also got me wanting to real the comics, so just started from the start again last night!

I think so. Mine is a little more ambitious and covers a longer timeframe, 1776-2003 on foreign Policy.

I assumed the "From Colony..." included the seventeenth century colonies - I guess the author meant America as a fledging "united" colony after the Revolution...a tad misleading! Mine is also a general overview of early American history - social, political, economic, etc. whereas yours zones in on (obviously) foreign policy until our present day. I'm most interested in Colonial America from the early seventeenth to roughly 1776 and a bit beyond. Fascinating material! Modern history is still engaging to me (I'm a certified History teacher, still on the job hunt!) but it doesn't (usually) capture me with the same fervor that earlier history does.
