You do realize Ganondorf didn't exist till Ocarina of Time, right? Before that Ganon was just a giant pig monster. They could easily make a character out of the SNES version of Ganon (not the Twilight Princess version that's Ganondorf's Final Smash), and I've seen that discussed around.

Also the game will have DLC (hackers already found character select arrows in the character selection screen), so we will probably be getting new characters on way or another soon enough.

Thank goodness this isn't like when Brawl came out, and we knew we were stuck with that roster until the next console came out. DLC on Nintendo systems has been great as seen with Mario Kart 8 and New Super Luigi U.

The number 1 Zelda new comer I wanted was skull kid. Also think a majoras mask Link(using the 3 masks) would have been awesome, but with transformation being out, that was never going to heppen.

Dude, I've played All 17 zelda games beginning to end,and I know for a fact that Ganon and Ganondorf are the same person. Ganondorf is even mentioned in the story of ALTTP... I really don't think many kids would even know about ALTTP, let alone played it to the end. If anything it would be more worth

I actually think he's referenced as Ganondorf Dragmire in the LttP manual, so he did exist. We just never saw him.

One of the sages says Ganondorf as well.

What does that have to do with anything? A Link to the Past was not only one of the best selling SNES games, it was also ported to GBA back in 2003 and has been on the Virtual Console since like 2007. Character relevance to today's kids means nothing.

What kids of today know who Duck Hunt Dog is? Only old 25+ year old adults who grew up with the NES and had the Zapper know who Duck Hunt Dog is. If you weren't around in the 80's or had an older sibling who had an NES Zapper, you wouldn't know who the hell this dog was and why he was important.

Pig Ganon in his SNES design would make a great character, since aside from Impa, there really aren't any other recurring Zelda characters worth putting into Smash.

Use Ganondorf. A few uncharged up smashes will send him to his next form extremely quickly. Master Core was the biggest problem for me on 9.0 when I first started. The monster form and one of the sword forms attacks were my biggest hurdles.

Any tips on getting 99%+ on the credits? Highest I've gotten was 97-something with R.O.B.

It's not about the amount of hits, it's where you hit them. When you hit them, they fly back to fill parts of the picture. When it's close to full, look out for sparkles to indicate where the gaps are and try to hit the names at that area. Try to fill the top and the corners first.

Yep, you gotta hit the panels as they pass the blank spots.

I only wish you could save them for later, unobscured viewing. Seems like more and more these days fighting games are hesitant to allow you to view the "ending" portions of their games outside of beating it again (or going to Youtube).

How do you get custom moves for the characters? I've played Smash Run several times and never got any.

I want to give Ganondorf his sword and don't know how.

Classic, All- Star and Smash Run all give you either special moves, sh*tty equipment or Mii Customizations randomly. They're signified by the red wrench icon in Classic and a bag with a wrench on it in the other two. It's all random, but it seems you have a better chance of getting customizations for the character you're using. Sometimes you'll get them for other characters though. The bags can also randomly drop in normal Smash matches.

Haven't bought it yet but I plan to soon. I did play it on a mate's system and I am absolutely garbage. I was quite good at Melee but I am terrible at this, really poor. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm one of the least skilled players on the planet. If anyone wants an easy boost to their self-esteem I will put up my friend code thingy, or whatever it's called. I haven't got any 3DS friends yet anyway.

Thanks. I won't be as into the game as all of you as I'm not a huge gamer now, but I will definitely get online sometimes. I will certainly add you. I expect to but the game within the next 6 weeks or so. Thanks for the offer of assistance.

No problem. If you want to add each other pre-emptively, let me know and we can do that.

Cruel Smash has always been horsesh*t, but the Mii Gunners entirely broken forward Smash makes it an absolute nightmare. F*ck it.

Edit: And if anyone is trying to get the Cruel Smash 4 KO challenge, use Shulk. His counter has huge range and his down and forward Smash are great for clearing space in front of you. I got 6 with him and now I'm never touching it again.
