To me it looks like they painted the eyes wrong. Like they painted the left eye where the right eye should be. I feel like if they just swapped the eyes he would look angry and it would fit. I agree with everyone that the red fingers is totally stupid and with the shiny paint they have been able to do on shredder I wish they would have done the same on Baxter. But meh, I will still be getting him

So what is the next batch of the basic line? Leatherhead,Baxter Stockman, and Snakeweed? Anyone else? I don't go by the tpy ailses unless I am on the hunt for a TMNT figure so are they out yet?

I plan on getting Leatherhead for sure and probably Snakeweed. I think I'll pass on Stockman- not because he's a bad figure per say, but as someone else said, I doubt we'll ever see him in that suit again, and I don't really want to collect 1 off figures.

Yep, just those three will be out. They're set to be released in April, but playmates usually releases them a month earlier, so we should be seeing them any day now.

Well Miru I can relate to your frustration I got that rare 2 pack with Blaze the Cat and mine has these horribly made legs where they are basically swapped. I can tell by your avatar that you are a Sonic fan and I agree with you. Jazwares really need to amp up on their QC and make better figures, I mean why are they the only ones taking a shot at the incredibly popular video game figures no one else is doing and they just mess up everything.

From what I've discovered those Mortal Kombat items are if not KO quality. So they're basically fakes being sold in well known public stores. I always hated how they looked they look fake don't they? I mainly am speaking for that horrendous $50 set with 5 figures that 's just horrible.

Hey guys! This is my first post, I've been reading these forums the past few days as I've recently gotten back into collecting TMNT. I collected back when I was a very small child, and had almost every figure the TMNT line came out with! I'm happy to be here, and I'm really enjoying the new figures. I recently purchased the 4 basic turtles along with that awesome Shellraiser (which is what got me back into the game, after seeing that beauty in person lol).

My main reason for wanting to post here is that I discovered something last night. I stopped by my local F.Y.E. (Suncoast I think owns it??) and realized they had a lot of new TMNT stuff. The funny thing is, there were 2 April O'Neals and 2 Kraangs just sitting there, and had a little dust on the packaging like they had been there since the TMNT line first started hitting shelves. I'm not sure that collectors in my area are aware that FYE has TMNT stuff, so I just wanted to let everyone know to check their local FYE/Suncoast to see if they can find some of the harder ones to find.

Needless to say, I picked up those 2 hot figs along with Shredder. Now I'm officially reeled back in and hope to go get Splinter, Foot Soldier, Dogpound, FishFace, and Metalhead later this week. Thanks for reading guys!

I also hope that the new figures for Leatherhead, Baxter Stockman, and Snakeweed come out really soon. I want all three of those as well to help my collection grow. I just watched the Baxter Stockman episode again, and realized that there was a red glow coming from inside the claws at various pints, maybe that's where Playmates got the red claws idea??

Hey chris thanks for joining us. You hit it lucky, congrats on your new fig scores. They are definitely hard-to-find figures at this moment (I remain optimistic that they will be on shelves again at some point, but we really don't know)

I hit my local Target today and they had replenished some of their TMNT stuff. This is a small target and they only carry a few select items: the basic figures, deluxe talking (but no flingers yet), roleplay weapons, anchovy alley and the 11" battle shells (heck yeah!). as usual, no aprils or kraangs but everything else was in ready supply. No wave 4, not that I expected it but hey, a guy can dream.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah, I also saw the 11 inchers but I just cant pull the trigger on that price point right now, so my main focus is getting the rest of the basic figs (minus the ooze turtles, I dont do gimmick figs) as well as the anchovy alley playset, and hopefully build towards getting the sewer lair playset. I'm super excited to see what comes out over the following year, the cartoon is great and the figures are pretty accurate to the cartoon (with the exception to scale of course)

If you've avoided getting a Shellraiser, they are $15 on Clearance at Wal Mart. My store had 10. I'm in Canada but maybe it's US as well?

Worth mentioning anyway!

Oh and Raph w/ bike is $17, I think.

DAMN I was just out there too! I was too distracted by the giant TMNT figure display they had! Picked up my 3rd Kraang and April. I did see they did a rollback online at $25 for the Shellraiser..
