I think the fact that it's "close" is pretty telling that this art is atleast something. How lucky do you have to be to make up a close design without having seen the real thing beforehand?

That's not related to TMNT at all, it's just an example of Andy's art style, which you can see anywhere on the web. I would expect it to most resemble his IDW comic Cosmic Scoundrels, but at this point, who the hell knows.

I'd be perfectly happy if the Turtles look similar to Samurai Jack's style. While that's very stylized, it's sure a hell of a lot better than chibi Teen Titans Go type characters.

Wow, they sound sincere. They really don't get it.

Marvel, the most successful comic book movie studio, constantly repeats the mantra that they wan't to 'bring the excitement of the comic book page to the screen'. We are finally in the age of being reverential to the comic book soruce material. We've been there. Get with the program.

The people who made the Bay Films are so out of touch with reality it hurts. They treated TMNT as a cheap cash grab, and it backfired on them.

As to the new show, I want to see what the new show is ACTUALLY like, before I complain or praise. Then I'll express my excitement and/or displeasure.
