This listing for a TMNT puzzle claims it's rare because of graffetti on the walls. I think it's rare because I've never seen it before but then again, I'm usually not looking for puzzles.

Guy's claiming Steve Lavigne is his son-in-law. I wonder if there's any truth to that. He does have some rather scarce TMNT items....

If I remember correctly, that puzzle has a swastika drawn in graffiti on the wall somewhere. I remember seeing a news story about it around 1990. It was recalled from stores after this was discovered.

Yup, this is correct. And that is the puzzle (I've seen some sellers try to claim the wrong one as the recalled one).

I was pretty surprised that this auction went so high. Missing pretty much everything, destroyed spoiler sticker. Seller describes it as "spectacular condition".
