Woohoo! I love Gen! He is so freakin cool! And I'm thrilled he is exactly like the REAL Gen...money grubbin, squinty eyes, unshaven and hacked off horn! He's perfect! But I always thought of Gen's name prounounced with a hard G sound, like in 'goon' not as in 'Gina.'

Usagi is fine but his voice is a little weird and they dude who voiced him needs to learn how to say Miyamoto...it's not Miyamato! hehe

Raph kicking butt was cool, it's so like him to just keep on going, never to give up. It was cool that he got Traximus, they're comrades so it was more like a fun fight to them.
Poor Donnie, but as other said, and I agree...he's not so concerned with fighting and perfecting his martial arts. He's a thinker notta fighter.
Splinter bowing down to Mikey was sweet, I know hoped they'd fight but nah. "Uh Sensei, are you gonna kick my shell now?" That was funny. Poor Mike, stuck in a very awkward position, ya had to feel kinda sorry for him!
Raph's gonna go insane, if this weren't a kid's level show, he'd KILL the dude who hurt Leo.

I want part 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this ep!!!!!!
Usagi is cool, I love his voice. But did it sound different to you guys or was it just me? In part 1's flashback he sounded more like that little guy from Shaman King, Part 2 he sounded more mature. And is his last name different in the toon? I have never read the Usagi comics but I thought he had a different surname.

I was sqealing like an idiot when the Splinter/Mikey scene came up. That was so sweet!!!!!!

I understand why the Ultimate Ninja is so crazed about killing Leo but I couldn't help but dislike the idea of him getting poisoned a little. I mean, he's already gotten a serious injury to deal with in the past. I can't help but feel that the show focuses on Loe too much at times. ( I love his character but would like to see the other boys share the light.)

All in all, this ep rocked!

I think that Usagis voice sounded different from the flashback because he is four years older than he was in the flashback. I totally agree with you on the whole Leo getting poisoned thingy. It kinda seems like dejavu or something.

I finally got a chance to see the episode!!1 Yep, today SUNDAY is when it shows over here not on Sat like normal people...gosh I hate that!!!!

Anyways, I thought it was a great ep...and i didnt know at first who was under that robe but after reading prev commentary I think its also draco under there....poor donnie, its true he'll never live that down...

So what are the predictions: whos gonna win this thing?

Hmm forgot to post. Anyway cool espisode. Lots of fighting. A bummer that Donny got knocked out so fast. I want to comment on the monsters in this show though. Their designs are very lame.

I just got to watch the episode today (Sunday) also. I didn't care much for the opening fight scene. Leo was getting his shell whipped. I did enjoy his versatility however. He is proficient with other weapons as well as his Katana.

The rest of the episode was down right awesome. I was thinking that Mikey was gonna be the first Turtle to get kicked out of the competition. I am glad he wasn't though, because the Mikey/Splinter scene was extremely touching.

Can't wait for next weeks episode!

Man, that never even occured to me, which is kinda funny considering how easy it was to notice the guy doing the voice of Casey also does the voice of Kid Muscle!

I agree that it's perhaps a bit redundant that Leo has been taken out of commission once again. However, along with Splinter's surrender to Mikey, I think that this was possibly a strategic move on the part of the writers to actually let one of the other characters shine through in the end. When you honestly think about it, Splinter would soundly defeat any of the Turtles, and Leo would most likely best each of his brothers as well. Viewers might then have more of an argument upon which to support the idea that Leo gets a little too much glory in this series. Just a thought....
