I was about 5, and it probably was the first film I ever saw in a theatre.

I was just turning 12 when I saw the movie in the theater in 1990. Yeah, I was "too old" for TMNT, people told me.

Well it was TMNT for big kids you know like the comics and do you like that it was loyal to the comics?

I think I was around 3-4 years old when it came out. My folks took me to it since I was a big fan of the turtles at that age (and still am to this day!)

Me being 7years old, I ran to my mum and asked her if something could be wrong with this lady. My mum ran outside with me, and we actually saved the lady's life by calling an ambulance. She had some kinda allergic shock or something. Well the officials of the movie theater gave me the official poster and all the little pictures of the first turtle movie to reward me. I felt like a hero that day
Now that's something to definitely be proud of.

There was a time where my mother didn't like me watching violent things. Ironically enough, she let my father take me to see Robocop. I didn't even want to see that.

I'm sure that was a shocker for all of us. I wonder how my mother felt about that. She probably didn't like it too much.

At least your parents didn't have to suffer through it.

I've been seeing R-rated movies since i was 4 with Fright Night being my first R-rated movie i saw in theaters and my parents had no problem of me seeing R-rated movies in theaters, video and cable including reading mature readers comics like Watchmen, Swamp Thing and more.

Oh yes i saw Robocop 4 times when i was 6 years old and i had merchandise plus watched the cartoon all the time.

I was 3 when TMNT hit the cinemas, so I probably didn't even know the turtles at that time. I watched the movie in television some years later on a Sunday afternoon, but I'm not sure if I was in kindergarten-age or if I already was going to elemetary school.

I sure was a TMNT- (or "TMHT-" as it was called here) fan in kindergarten as I had shirts and shoes. And it must've been 1993/1994 that I watched the cartoon show.

Crazy 8. 1990.

I saw Aliens, Puppet Master, and Robocop around the same time. Plus a truckload of Godzilla movies. A good wholesome, film-viewing diet.

Forgot. Maybe 13 or 14. I remember it came out when we were short on funds, so we had to wait til it hit VHS. I as so jealous of a friend that got to see in theaters. I did get to see the 2 sequels in theaters though.

I think I was 12

I will never forget the summer of 1989 as that was the year they filmed the TMNT movie in my hometown of Wilmington, NC. At that point I was taking Karate and loved the TMNT. I was lucky enough to get cast as one of the kids in Shredder's warehouse. I was a real dream come true It was one of the coolest weeks of my life, I got to meet Jame Saito who played Shredder, Elia Koteas, Ernie Rayes Jr. (stunt double for Don and later Keno in TMNT part 2)

It was really amazing to be a kid in the 80's a turtle fan and then to be in the movie. I can be scene running across the screen in the warehouse, that's the best thing a kid could ask for..

I was ten years old and I think it had just come out. My dad borrowed a pirated video tape off someone I think, because my parents REALLY did not want to go to the cinema and sit through it with me.

Although seeing the pirated version did mean I got to see the full version, unlike the British people who saw it at the cinema. Even in the recent DVD release, I think the scene with Mike and the punchbag in the barn was removed for some reason.
