That's what I'm thinking will happen... He'll remain as a regular character for the remainder of the season with heavy involvement in next season's storyline.

Ooh, definitely would LOVE to see Leatherhead and Casey Jones have a team up at least once in the series. I would lose it just then and there wanting to see XD

Yeah, I'm definitely hoping for something like this. I don't think I would be able to stand him being gone again, so this is a great boon to both his character and his status as a whole!

I was hoping that the kid that was forced to flush him down the toilet was a younger Casey Jones. Because it could help easily tie both Casey and Leatherhead together and they would have already had a previous bond that was shattered due to Casey's parents. I would love to see Casey's reaction that his pet gator become something like Leatherhead. But they probably won't write it that way.

While that would be very awesome, Casey is too young to be his owner... Keep in mind LH is a little bit older than the turtles... Assuming he was flushed around 18 years ago, his owner would be at least somewhere in his early thirties...

Still, it is a cool concept.

I see, well in that case, maybe it could be Casey's dad that had the pet gator lol. I am reaching I know, but I still think it would be cool if Casey had a bigger connection to Leatherhead. It could be a funny episode if Leatherhead actually came to Casey's house and tried not to destroy things, but is curious about everything in the house or the human world.

That would have been so great if Casey was. But I do look forward to Casey's reaction at seeing Leatherhead and definitely Rat King. I hope they show that!

I'm really excited to see Leatherhead's interactions with the characters he hasn't met yet... It would've been awesome to see the moment April met him during the events of TCRI...
