Over all the episode was pretty fun but is it even intended to be canon? Even though I liked the racing, I seriously doubt any of this was intended to be in continuity, or at least someone really didn't care about continuity. Here's a couple of headscratchers:

If Mondo has been taken care of by Xever since his mutation, why wasn't he part of the Foot Clan?
When did Xever have time for a X-Men Morlock sewer society?

Follow up, why not capture them after the race and bring them to Shredder?
Aren't some of the villains in the crowd... Well... Dead?

Again the episode is fun but this show has continuity and it's so weird to see an episode that just seems to ignore it. If this episode is indeed canon... Well, then it's just bizarre. I just imagine this scenario:

There's also the sentient slice of pizza from an episode that was supposedly just a dream. Was this one a dream, too? Or the other one really wasn't? So confused.

If it turns out to be a filler I guess we can just pass it off as a dream and Mikey, seen laying in bed at the start, only dreamed that he was bored and went and did all that stuff.

5. who's dead, no one from the villian crowd has died, Pizza Face was seen in Mikey's room at the end of the Pizza Face episode.

I really, REALLY loved this episode. It was great hearing Rist again in a role that suits him perfectly. I loved

The skateboarding scene was awesome and all the villains watching were so funny. I hope Mondo Gecko will join the main team one day, love the little guy. My second favourite episode! 10/10

The first part of this episode had me thinking it would be kinda boring, but then that whole race sequence won me over.

alright ep overall, hun showing up was a nice touch and had some funny moments and enjoyed tigerclaws reaction 2 stockman puking on the popcorn

but the whole skating death race thing felt a bit 2 much like the race w/ speed demon, considering the circumstances on the speed demon ep, it was pretty gd but this ep felt bland compared 2 it

although the stadium racing thing does explain where half of shredders guys disppear 2, makes me wonder who else was there as far new mutants go

pretty sure that ciro did say pizzaface would make a appearance this season

I have to have another look but Justin didn't die either as he was seen in Metalhead rewired.

Have you never hung around with a skater, rocker, or stoner in real life? Mondo Gecko is based on all of them.

No? Most of them were Shredder's henchmen, Rahzar, Tiger Claw, Bebop, Rocksteady, Baxter and Hun. And then we had Spiderbitez and Snakeweed.

The only difference is Pizzaface was there.

That was a nice episode. I really enjoyed the way the characters were written here. It was great seeing Mikey and Casey hanging out, and I definitely liked Mondo's character. Mikey saying he felt responsible for what happened to Jason with the mutagen incident (as they were involved) was a nice touch.

Good to see Hun appear again as well. Just love his mannerisms and fighting style. Nice fight scene too.

Raph and Donnie playing a game against each other was fun to see. It's nice seeing Don outside the lab for a change, he's spending a lot of time there lately.

The entire race was well done and I liked how Mikey, Casey and Mondo were portrayed. In other episodes I sometimes feel Casey can be bit annoying but he was written well in this episode. Casey not willing to hang out with Mondo after he wanted to keep some of the money was a nice addition as well.

I loved hearing Mikey say Cowabunga. Perfect ending to an enjoyable episode.

Did Mondo have a human name in the Archie series? I can't remember what his name was, I don't think it was Jason though. I also liked how they kept the "Mr. X" aspect from the original cartoon.

Mondo is presented as a loud, disgusting, cocky and weak. It's like if Poochie the Dog and Jar Jar Binks had a baby.

You expect a guy who was just a normal skateboarding teenager to be able to fight martial art experts like Hun or Fishface? A guy who has no fighting experience?

Wow what a fun episode. Not much else to say about it besides that I liked the way they handled Mikey and Mondo's relationship. They came together really well.

Don't understand the people who say Mondo was annoying.

I just watched it and I couldn't even seen Justin and the Shredder clones. I had to pause it everytime to see if I could see them. I only saw Pizza Face, Snakeweed, Spiderbytes, Baxter, Rocksteady, Bebop, Tiger Claw, Rahzar, Hun and the italian mafia.

No I don't expect Mondo be good at fighting, but all it took for Hun to tire him out was to block him with the foot. Clearly we're not just meant to think of him as inexperienced, we're meant to think of him as utterly feeble.

No, we're meant to think of him as a teenage kid going up against Hun, a martial arts expert.

Either way, I'm sure Mondo will join the Mutanimals and he'll probably get experience fighting later on.

Yeah I didn't expect Mondo to be any help he's a random teen kid who happened to be mutated. I'd love if when he appears with the Mutanamals he says some think like " Slash tought me some rad ninja stuff".
