Yeah, honestly we currently know so little about where they're going with Ch'rell that they could quite literally do anything with him. Pretty hard to speculate when we've so little to work with.

Ah, yeah...that's actually a good point.

Krang never really took Traxus' title, just took the power and used the body as armor. And also killed Traxus himself, which gave more power to using the body.

Ch'rell would have to kill Oroku Saki himself for the idea to work, and at this point, I'm not sure there'd be much point in trying to establish animosity between the two of them. Saki's already dead, so as far as he'd be concerned, the job had been done for him. The window to do anything with Shredder is gone.

More likely for him to be in the market for an alligator skin suit.

Not if he becomes convinced that it would be advantageous to pose as a human crime boss with a foothold (heh) in the underworld in order to advance his agenda. Krang did try the open warfare approach to conquering Earth and it didn't work out so well for him, he was met with opposition every step of the way just like Saki warned him he would... And that's when the Turtles had way less allies to help stop him than they have now. Ch'rell doing the same thing would feel repetitive, even if he doubled down on the military might. He doesn't need Saki's body per se, just the guise of the Shredder.

Or maybe IDW is gonna bring to fruition that whole thing that was intended to happen during the Fast Forward season of the 4kids cartoon and have Ch'rell take over the body of a Triceraton.

There IS a Triceraton just sitting around in island jail that would be pretty easy to take an opportunity on.
(One that he's eventually going to find out tried to kill his sister no less. He might be mad at her, but family is family)

You got a good point there. If that happens, maybe that'll lead to Zog reappearing and saving the Triceraton's. (I say that partially jokingly since if I recall I don't remember Zog dying at the end of the 2014 Annual, which I guess means he's still running around in the multiverse somewhere, which begs the question....is he gonna come back at some point?)

IDK, Zog and Krang just seem like far bigger parallels to one another than what's on the surface.

Namely in being isolated in their effort to save their people, going mad as a result, and dying while in a state beyond mental help. Krang literally and Zog mentally. (Also having a crazy loyal subordinate officer)

The Zog the Triceratons knew is gone. Very, very gone. And it would have to take a truly extra-dimensional Zog, but he still wouldn't their Zog.

Just give him some psychotropic serum and he'll be fine, like Slash back when he was alive.

That should have been done for Pete a long time ago. Yet Bobby says it is purposely forgotten about because Pigeon Pete is comedic relief. In-story explanation though? Limited to the one?

Wasn't the serum used on Slash because his mutation was unstable due to contamination, thus creating his own instability?

Zog was born stable (actually coming from a set of parents) and only lost himself through constant fighting in the Battle Nexus. Pigeon Pete is missing a few cards, but he's not "unstable" to the degree Slash or Zog were. And aside from his own degree of I'm not sure the psychotropic serum would help with either of them.

I was just joking around but I still think there should be an epilogue if you will concerning his fate after the 2014 Annual.

I mean, the Neutrinos could at least have questioned how on they met Zog and what the blazes the "Battle Nexus" is. Give Zom a tap on the shoulder say "hey, we got a lead on your lost guy"

Speaking of the Neutrinos (and back to issue 93 ) I hope we don't have to wait 20 issues before we find out what Honeycutt saw on the screen that was a problem.
