don: Sure, sensei. I just gotta finish my coffee, then i'll head in.

Sp: Thank you. *turns to Azure* Once you are finished, come to the infirmary so we can check your bandages.

Hi Kali! Yeah, i'm not doing too bad. My side hurts like a bugger, but other than that...its okay.

*Her voice quieted on the last words. She hoped that questions wouldnt come up about the tortures. As if on cue, Donatello came in with a tray of food.*

*takes a drink of juice, and loks up at Kali*
Hey, did you eat yet? join me, I have a feeling i'm gonna be imprisoned here for a good amount of time...

Don: If you dont need anything more, i'll leave you your bill and you can give me a tip when i get back.

Sp: Thank you Donatello. Ah, yes, your tip will be to take care of the mess in the kitchen... *The girls giggled at Don's sudden slump, and Don made a face at the girls before he headed out.*

Sp:*smirks* You two are free to talk, i am just preparing to take care of Azure's bandages...

*Splinter stepped away from them, leaving them to talk.*

*Machias flashed a glance towards Splinter, who raised his eyes to hers, sensing her nervousness. Machias took a deep breath, and set her food down.*

Well, let's just say that it's definitely gonna be on my mind for a while...It was pretty rough, especially when i found out what they wanted me for so badly...

Yeah...I just--I dont understand how he could do that. First the change when i was little, and then he comes here, has someone put a mutagen catalyst into the water, and then come after me. *looks down into her hands* His plan just topped the list.

*long uncomfortable pause*

I had always seen the man as a nice guy in the films. I cant believe how wrong i was about him. I thought i could judge people correctly, I thought i could protect myself from ment like that--I...*sniff* I just..cant believe how wrong I was about everything!

*She couldnt stop herself. She just poured herself out, crying like there was no tomorrow...*

*Azure finally finishes his hot chocolate and walks over to the infirmary. He no longer feels sleepy and is in fairly happy mood. He notices that Kali is with Machias, and that Machias is weeping. He rushes over to Machias's side.*

*Splinter approaches Azure*

Sp:*whispers* Let us go to my study, and we will take a look at your stitches. Come...

*Splinter picked up the first aid materials and directed Azure out to the hall. Before he left, he looked to Machias and Kali.*

Sp: I will return in a few moments...*he nodded towards Kali, an unsaid message going between them, and then, he headed towards his study to tend to Azure.*

*Kali was suddenly at a loss for what to do. She finally pushes the tray aside and sits beside Machias, putting her arm around her shoulder* Go ahead and let it all out. It'll be okay. There's no way that guy's going to come after you again. Everyone makes mistakes. This wasn't your fault. *man, she felt awkward. Comforting was just not her thing*

*Splinter entered the study, the want to reach out and comfort Machias pulling at his heartstrings. He stepped in to find Azure sitting on the cot in the corner, and brought a chair up to the side.*

Sp: Let us see how your stitches are holding. *he opened the bandages and examined the stitches. He frowned a little bit as he saw Azure's imminent pain as he looked the wound over. He cleaned the wound but did not rebandage it. He brought over the tray, and pulled out the small medical scissors, thread, and a clean washcloth.*
