For once, I agree with you. Harley was perfect, and Deadshot was will smith.

However, Im not that bothered by it. His character had everything he needed to be deadshot (daughter he loves, wrist mounted guns and red eye piece, white/gray helmet/hood) and out side of that, Deadshot is a pretty static character. So by adding some classic Will Smith traits to it, i think it actually developed the character a bit, atleast in this interpretation.

i liked this movie, aside from the fact that i don't know anything about "The Enchantress" so the plot kinda fumbled for me, and Joker acting like a GEMO really did nothing for me, because one Joker isn't Gay or Emo, Leto's performance aside, otherwise a good movie

I love me some TLJ. I think he's great at what he does, and what he does is usually be TLJ as someone else.

He never really embodies a role to the point where I forget it's him.

Yes I have and even playing two different characters his own personality still shows through. He has a kind of charming but snarky attitude that is evident in almost everything he does. He always has certain expressions and body language that are uniquely his own. His "nice guy" vibe, if you will. Even when playing a bad guy....

He is over the top in both roles- just in different directions. One as the "straight" to Smith's comic side, the other as the wildly melodramatic multi-persona in BF. But both very much in line with his own very strong and distinct persona. He's got an assertiveness to him, and it always comes out in some way. Ever see him play a "weak" role? Nah, me either. It's what he's good at- assertive and persistant personalities.

I really wanted to see this on opening day. However, my two best friends couldn't make it, so I didn't go. We went this past Friday instead. Did I think this was a masterpiece when it comes to comic-book adaptations? No I did not. However, I still thought it was fun. The actors really looked like they were having a blast playing villains, especially Margot Robbie and Jared Leto. I also felt like Will Smith had sort of returned to his glory days.

Plus, Viola Davis was a much stronger Amanda Waller than Angela Bassett, who is a fantastic actress, was in Green Lantern. Overall, I thought it was much more enjoyable than Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Spoiler: The scene where Deadshot was practicing his shooting at the jail was the polar opposite of the moment during 'Men in Black'where he has training and shot the cut-out of Little Tiffany because he didn't like her books. Plus, Viola Davis was a much stronger Amanda Waller than Angela Bassett, who is a fantastic actress, was in *Green Lantern. Overall, I thought it was much more enjoyable than Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice*.
