Pricey though...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the Euro (€) prices quite similar to sterling in the U.K for LEGO?

Btw nice to see an "in hand" set image. Looks massive in size, but seems overpriced (€0.12 as apposed to €0.10 per piece)

TMNT Juniors set is out at TRU (along with a lot of other cool sets such as CITY Arctic and AGENTS)

Sadly LEGO charges a lot more for the Juniors sets, I don't know why. I agree the price is too high, but it still has some cool parts for anyone willing to pay it. The minifigs included are not that good though (they are all re-releases)

The little shell car in that Junior set looks cute but $20 is too high.

Hey what are the chances of getting OT Legos? original van, technodrome, lair, mutant module...that would be so awesome.

Honestly probably not that high. TMNT LEGO seem to be selling "okay" but not as well as a lot of other licensed brands such as SW, Disney Princesses, Simpsons, Marvel & DC Superheroes. So they may not be as willing to take risks on vintage-themed sets.

LEGO doesn't seem to do a lot of stuff based on vintage themes unless they are enormously popular, such as SW, Indiana Jones and the one-set only releases for Back To The Future and Ghostbusters.

IMO the best bet for a OT set to happen? If someone makes one, puts it on LEGO Ideas and it gets over 10,000 votes it might be possible.

I think someone should make a Technodrome with Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady and a foot soldier... put it on LEGO Ideas... and if the build is good enough, 10,000 votes is definitely possible.

LEGO recently revealed they are ramping up their LEGO Ideas project, so we will get more sets per year from submitted Ideas. Currently it's been about 2 sets a year, but there will be 4 (or more?) a year going forward. Which gives it a better chance.

What I don't like about that particular junior set is that Leonardo only comes with a single katana, he doesn't get 2. Wanted to buy it, but I want him with 2 katanas.

Huh, that's odd. Since there are two katana on the box picture, one in Leo's hand and the other stores on his shell ride.

Even Karai in her set came with a spare katana, fitting what my experience have been. That unique swords often comes with a extra. Such as Tauriel in the Hobbit sets comes with a extra (third) short sword.

Lego Ideas used to be called Cuusoo. I recently came across the Ghostbusters one. Im so excited for that. I think it'll sell well, hopefully. I think it could keep going.

Heres a fan made party wagon I saw awhile ago. Its so cute and OT accurate. Ive always wondered where they got the stickers. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/48431 I would build this myself but don't have some of the pieces.

Yeah, the picture on the box never shows everything that's inside.

One katana is black and is for Karai though.

I'm not sure it comes with two silver ones for Leo I don't remember. I want to say no though.

IMO not a major deal but I understand why that would bother you

*edit* oh they both get two? that's cool i don't remember that from when i opened it

If so I think those are "extras" LEGO doesn't advertise it on the box but they often put a few extra pieces in there particularly if they are small pieces. I don't know the actual reason for this, I think it's to help in case you lose anything or maybe because the way they are packaged they do it to help minimize risk of them underpacking a box with pieces it requires.

My set had 4 katana in total, two grey for Leo and one + spare black for Karai.

Almost completed the 2014 Lego line, remaining is the Submarine turtle set and the junior set.

Unfortunately i did not bought the previous lego sets as i am not into lego, so i guess i have to ebay it in the future :p

BTW why are these lego sets at least 10 dollar more than simular sized LOTR or other franchise sets? I found these tmnt lego sets quit expensive to be honest.

Still no word on if or when the USA will get the Flashback Shredder figure, but LEGO stores in other parts of the world now have the offer available.

Spend over £25 on anything in the LEGO store and you'll receive a free TMNT minifig 5002127: Flashback Shredder until the end of May. This offer may also be on http://shop.lego.com in your region (but not the USA)

Hopefully the offer will be available to US residents very soon.
