That's such an awesome setup, wow. Totally love how Leo and April are just training with Splinter in that last pic while Raph's one room over keeping the lair safe from mousers.

Shark_Blade, Discogod, orionpaximusprime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go!

Shark_Blade, you made me go buy myself one of those Ben Tennyson figures! He would make a great "Danny"! Since April's a teen in the Nick series that would make "Danny" a little boy, right? Anyway, works for me! Keep 'em coming!

Does anybody know of any good threads or webpages on ideas for what materials to use to make certain items for these types of dioramas? Most of what is on the general market is for WWII style or car garage or something of that nature and many are the wrong scale- mostly too small.... Anyone know of a good website to order from? Am I wrong in thinking that I want to go with a 1:12 scale?

I'm thinking off finding the really detailed brick scrapbooking paper for walls and attach it to the buildings- I'm thinking of making out of cardboard? (Good idea or no?) The only dios I've ever made have all been scenery based and of a smaller scale... I'm going to use the wooden pallet idea another dromer posted (made out of craft sticks) and printing up some small posters to put on the walls, etc. Other than that I've still got a pretty blank canvas.

DTC, I would go with a 1:14 scale just to be safe if you're talking the Nick line specifically.

Cheers guys, glad you enjoy them.

OrokuYoshi: I reckon he'll be perfect fit as Danny too!

Dawnatello: I can't find much about the diorama either, even ebay is lacking. :/ Would be great if anyone can share some info on this too.

Depends what size diorama you're making - all mine are 1/12 scale (basically 1 inch = 1 foot), which happens to be the same size as most doll's house accessories. For brickwork I use cheap brickpaper, although you can get embossed paper it's more expensive. Anything I can't buy I tend to make.

You can find suitable stuff anywhere - I've bought novelty candy in oil drum & garbage can containers that are in perfect scale.

Here is my #1 cover tribute I made for my B&W Necas:

Also, here is a quick PS app sepia toned version to closer match the reddish hue of the original cover:

Sadly, they are waiting for my storage room to get cleaned out and some proper shelving before they will be properly displayed along with the rest of my collection.
