That's my theory, I think it makes sense, and I support Jonah 100% if my theory ever turns out correct.

And I HATE the idea of Seth Rogen in this movie. Fvck no. Jonah Hill can do serious. I don't believe the same of Rogen... never saw HIM impress me in War Dogs.
While the finer details are impossible to nail down, I'm thinking along similar lines. Maybe he was really only I interested in Riddler but they wanted him for Penguin. Who knows.

The idea of Seth Rogen doesn't excite me, but hey, maybe he has something dark and sleazy up his sleeve.

Has Seth Rogen even TRIED any serious roles? I really don't want Penguin dropping cum jokes.

Hopefully I'm not being too hypocritical here. But I legitimately don't know of any non-comedic roles Rogen has done. ... To IMDB!

Not that I know of. Seth Rogen is known for raunchy comedies to the point where he's one of the posterboys for those type of films. Not sure if he's up for such a role. Hell even Josh Gad might be a better casting choice (Don't quote me on that).

Oh geez. I hate me some Josh Gad. I think I'd rather have Rogen. But it's a choice between having explosive diarrhea or projectile vomiting.

Serious roles... yes ("Funny People,""50/50"... ironically, both movies about people about to die from cancer). Roles that would suggest he could even possibly have villainous chops? Eh... no, not really at all. Not even one. The closest I can even think of is "Observe and Report," where he is like a less serious version of "Taxi Driver" with a temper.

I love the guy, I've met the guy, I enjoy the sh** out of 90% of his movies but... I'm not seeing it.

"Batman’s not a hero, though. He’s a complicated character," Pattinson shared with The New York Times. "I don’t think I could ever play a real hero—there’s always got to be something a little bit wrong. I think it’s because one of my eyes is smaller than the other one."

This comment excites me. Sort of gives me "Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth' by Morrison and Mckean vibes. Calling Bruce's sanity into question may seem like old hat in the comics at this point, but I think we've yet to see it explored in a definitive way within the films.

What is it about Batman that excites you?

I love the director, Matt Reeves, and it’s a dope character. His morality is a little bit off. He’s not the golden boy, unlike almost every other comic-book character. There is a simplicity to his worldview, but where it sits is strange, which allows you to have more scope with the character.

You just paused.

I just fear that when I say anything about “Batman,” people online are like, “What does this mean?” And I don’t know! I used to be very good at censoring myself, but I’ve said so many ridiculous things over the years, so I’m always curious when I’m promoting these movies how many times I can mess up. It feels like with every movie that comes out, there’s always one quote from me where it’s like, “How? What kind of out-of-body experience produced that screaming nonsense?”

You’ve said that after you were cast as Batman, you anticipated a vitriolic reaction online.

Maybe I’m just used to abuse by now. At least I didn’t get death threats this time — that’s a plus! It’s funny that people are so very angry about “Twilight.” I never particularly understood it.

They're also tweeking Riddler's name so it's "Nashton" instead of "Nigma"

I guess that was his name in the comics before he took the name nigma

I really enjoyed Paul Dano's performance in "Prisoners". He really sold the feeling of "something is just off about this guy". I highly recommend that film for anyone curious about him.
Great choice for a Gotham villain.

I'm going to try as hard as I can to avoid learning much more about this film, at least stopping myself when it comes to the first trailer and leaked images hit the web.

I always like to have at least one anticipated film that I know next-to-nothing about. I can't do it with all of them, because I enjoy following development too much, but I'm going to go for it here.

I just imagine that, if tomorrow, I were able to go see a screening of this movie, I'd be beyond ecstatic, not because I absolutely can't wait, but because I would be going into an experience completely blind. I really want to see if I can obtain that experience.

Not that it will make the film any better for me. I realize that. I just think it could be really interesting and fun for me.

The riddler could be the right villain for a movie with a Batman inclined to the detective side of the job.

Gad just confirmed he’s not doing the film.

Good. Keep Olaf far away from Batman.

Knowing current treads, anyone else suspect Riddler will be a homosexual in this movie? There's probably going to be at least one gay character, Riddler fits the bill.

I wouldn't be surprised. But I wouldn't particularly care, if it's subtle and not BLACK MASK LUVS C0CK like that terrible Harley Fvcking Quinn movie.

Nygma's sexuality has not, to my knowledge, been a critical factor in who he is. Gay, straight, dude is superior intellect as hell and that's what matters.

Catwoman is known to be bisexual but I don't think they'll be any other major female lead in this film so that's probably out. I guess Penguin could be gay but probably not. Riddler is probably most likely.
