*sighs* Cooler doesn't understand a lot about what I'm feeling and neither do the others, no matter what they want to believe. I decided this b/c it...it hit too close to home for me. I went thru this sort of thing once, I don't want to live thru it again.

*Don stood up and took her hand. It was hard to tell who led who to the dance floor, but then again, he doubted it mattered. He wrapped his arms around her, and swayed with the beat.*

*Vespera just relaxed and enjoyed herself. She was too tall to rest her head on his shoulder, but that didn't really matter to her. Best friend, confidante, other half. For two people who had so little in common, she didn't think she could love him anymore. It was less of attraction, and more of a case where he made her feel whole. Too much thinking, not enough dancing. She pushed the thoughts away and planted a kiss between Leo's eyes, it being the easiest part of his anatomy to reach*

*sighs* I lost someone very close to me a long time ago, Machias. He died and a lot of people blamed for me for it, the way that Mike said it was my fault for letting you get hurt. So...it sort of struck a chord when I heard that.

kameko looked blearily around her room. It didn't have half the things that she was USED to her room having. The only truly personal item in it beyond her clothes was the blade protruding from the wreck of a dresser.

kam: busy? Yeah. No. maybe. what do you want?

kya just let herself melt against him. He didn't once step on her feet.

*shakes her head again* It seems a little silly to get upset about something like that I guess. I know that Mike was upset and that he didn't mean what he said. I'm just tired of...being blamed.

It only took her another minute to find Raphael in the living room, since there were very few other places he could go. She placed her hands on the back of the couch.* Splinter said I should talk to you.

S: We're all worried about you back home. You say that you're not hurt but you are. You're scared of being hurt and you can't do that. You have to make this work out. We're not gonna let you lose everything like you did after Skywolfe died.
