Tales of the TMNT #40 - Page 6

I basically agree with all the hype and complete awesomeness of the issue. I lost some faith with Tales on and off again, but this issue and 37 revived it. The action was so fluid that I could imagine what happened between the frames, and the angles from a filmmaking standpoint were really great.

really dissapointed with these issue. the last few months have been great. another future tale next month which i'm not saying i'm looking forward, after a great year it this issue was a big downer for me

. bring back tristan!!

The cover of this issue was the best thing {even if the dpi on it was wrong and it came out pixelated, the art inside is pretty nice but it could have used the nice colors the cover had.
The story was cute but there's not to much to it just like the casey jones story.
It was decent and was nice to see Raphael in the future and not living in a swamp but there wasn't just much to this.

When is Tales 40 going to be shipping?

*Roseangelo* · 11-21-2007, 03:59 PM

Tales #40 came out Nov. 7th.

soccerstud652 · 11-21-2007, 05:23 PM

Any online sites that I can buy it from asap? I thought this was delayed until late November. Good news!

Mine was missing like 8 pages. They were just plain white

. I get mine online, not from a brick and mortar store.

I'll see if Dan can help me - if not, maybe the online comic shop can =/.

I liked the issue, the artwork was a wonder to behold after reading Bad Moon #4. I actually enjoyed an issue that didn't rely on tons of heavy reading for once. The artwork was allowed to shine through. We don't need these all the time but I did like it alot.

Got mine from a very special source

The first time I didn't have to hunt down an issue..Enjoyed it and the art!
I liked the back cover too; a peek into Raph's gentle side.

Today I went to a comic shop that wasn't my usual one and I made my first purchase of current TMNT issues: I got this one, and then in the back issue bin they had a few others and got Tales #10 and Vol. 4 #2.

I guess this one was pretty good. I like the art, but I guess I prefer something a little more dialogue heavy. Maybe it's because the only other Mirage I've read is the beginning of Volume 1 (up to Return to NY), but what's with the future Raphael? Have they told future stories like that before?

Haven't read the other two issues I got yet. Looking forward to those. Glad I was on the lookout for Turtles comics, they are a nice break from my usual Marvel and DC purchases.

"Heeeey! Mr. Mutant Man, play a song for me,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to.
Heeeey! Mr. Mutant Man, play a song for me,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you."

Sorry, i couldn't help myself

Thanks to everybody here at the Technodrome for their nice comments and constant support, i'm very honored

I never thought of Mr. Tambourine Man when I came up with the username.
