i'm pretty excited for these now that i've seen pictures. when i was a kid i only had a few of the turtles and splinter and those are lost somewhere in the recesses of my parent's attic. haha. if they do indeed release a box with all 4 ill wait and look for that. otherwise i really wanna get slash, rockstead & bebop. my turtles never had anybody to fight but themselves lol.

I just got back from target and all they had were empty pegs. At least I know they are available.

My Target is the same way. That just means they'll probably get them in stock before too long.

The Los Angeles Area Is TOTALLY sold out!

This actually kind of puts a smile on my face...

So I went to target tonight looking for the anniversary turtles, and they were sold out. I asked a target employee about them and he checked his cool little Target palm pilot thing (that is connected to target's network) and we saw that every single target in the Los Angeles area is currently reporting being sold out of the figures. As much as it sucks that I couldn't pick some up for myself...I'm ****ing thrilled that they appear to be selling that well!

Why not, half the parts look like they came from the movie figures anyway.

Because these toys havn't been hard to find at all, the box designs are horrible, and Shredder is pantless, and that Mini Krang is from the 1994 android body which they could have easily added to the lineup.
Many of these figures go on sale on ebay and at much less than stores are charging for these umpteenth re-releases.
The only one I could honestly see myself getting is Slash as he has never been re-released.

They're all labeled right on the DVD. Pretty cool. I'm not sure if the episodes they come with are random but I imagine it's specific.
Now that's a pretty cool incentive.

And this is why no one can find them in stores lol

If you mean figures that look exactly as they did in the old toon, then no Peter Laird stated in his blog that he feels there is no such reason for figures to be made of those designs and that the old Playmates toys are good enough.
The man doesn't know toys very well do he?
I don't know about anyone else but I'd kill for a Rocksteady with his potbelly. lol

So, who wants to guess what episodes the rest come with?

My guesses if the missing episodes aren't included:
Shredder/Krang: Shredder & Splintered
Splinter: Splinter No More
April: April's Fool
Casey Jones: Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero
Slash: Slash - The Evil Turtle from Dimension X
Rocksteady: The Adventures of Rhino-Man
Bebop: Bebop and Rocksteady Conquer the Universe
Foot Soldier: The Foot Soldiers Are Revolting

Notice that aside from Rocksteady everyone's name is in the title (and even then, Rhino-Man is Rocksteady). I really hope I'm wrong and the missing episodes are with the figures, especially since I've NEVER SEEN THEM

*Rolls off cursing Liongate...*

I just got all four turtles! This brings back childhood memories. Now here is one question I would like to ask: Should I open them or keep them in the box?

Keep 'em boxed up - once you open them, the thrill is gone (for me, at least) - the packaging is a gigantic part of the appeal/nostalgia...

Found them at Target but only bought Michelangelo and Leonardo for now. The sticker was bubbled up on the one Raph they had and the card was bent on the Donatello. Needless to say, I'm an anal box collector.

The first Target I went to was sold out. Then I went to the "Scan and Service" center they have and it told me that every other Target in my area had them! Good system, bad luck.

Are the episodes in better quality than the Lionsgate Season 1 dvd?
