For some reason, the fact they keep using that term bugs me. It is a correct term, but it could easily lead to kids continuously refering to them as amphibians. There are other terms they could use, like reptilian.

BTW, I agree with the statement that there's no real need to lock these episode threads. Simply un-sticky-ing them would work, as long as some people don't end up using them as spam topics.

April hasnt been in the last what like 4 eps!! Not that I'm complaining I just dont like cartoons that have vital characters in the first eps and then just kid of brush them aside without any plot behind it.

Well, most likely April's been busy trying to put her life back together. Getting the shop running, trying to get those other apartments rented out. She's a busy woman, and just putting her in any of the recent eps "just to have her there" is very pointless. I'm very sure she'll show up soon.

By the way, this week's episode wasn't that great. I mean, they jumped around a fat guy for 5 minutes and then threw a stick at him. Big Deal.

Like someone said, this was very much like one Batman TAS episode. And even if it was a filler, it did work and I tought it was enjoyable episode. One thing bothered me... Few Homeless people knew the TMNT. Before Splinter said that the TMNT should hide from the public at any costs.

Well maybe homeless people aren't excatly public, and they tought they were just guys with weird suits, but it still kind of bothered me. But all in all, a very good episode. I never watch the previews, but Im sure that everyone knows that the next episode is really going to be something big.

i don't think the homeless are the public, think about it do you beleive anyone would belaive that 4 giant turtles are frienbds of theirs, or any one of importance at least (except maybe those 2 police officers)

I'll comment on the topic of episode discussion threads.

These threads were meant to be a single place to discuss the latest episode. A new thread is started for each episode and the previous locked. If you want to discuss a specific topic about a previous episode, feel free to start a thread on it. I personally like the fact that we have weekly threads. If we continued to use one thread to discuss an episode, it would get rather long and cluttered.

This episode was the best!!
It reminded me of the archie TMNT comics for some reason.

It has two great morals: homeless people are people too, and don't be wasteful! And, there was plenty of action AND humor!
I thought the beginning was quite sweet, with the whole sharing theme.(another great moral).I don't think that the TMNT interacting with the homeless people is unrealistic at all. I mean, they're all outcasts after all.
I also liked the TMNT standing up to a crooked landfill operation. There are alot of corrupt people in that business (no offense to the ones who are not corrupt)
I'd recommend this Ep. to parents who are worried if the TMNT are setting a good example.
The action was great too. the final battle with Garbageman was great. (I liked Leo attacking him head-on with both swords, even if it didn' t work) I think that Garbageman is a pretty cool villian (High-tech fat-ass: gotta love it!

) and I hope to see him again (I'd like to see Casey fight him). And about his escape, Fat Floats!
And Michelangelo was Michelangelo. People who complain about lack of humor in the new series should watch this one. The whole sub-plot was Michelangelo's attempts at wit.
Best Episode yet but will more-than likely be de-throned next week when the long awited return of Shredder takes place!

I hope this tought that you shouldn't judge an episode you haven't seen yet.

Yeah, the homeless people wont probably even try to convince anyone that they saw giant turtles. Besides, it seems that only the "professor" knew that they weren't wearing suits.

Here are my thoughts:

When I first saw the preview for the episode... I was like, this has gotta be the dumbest idea of an enemy? I mean come on!!! The Garbageman??? OOOOOH... so scary!

But when I saw the episode, I was actually pretty freaked out by the guy, I mean he snatched guys left and right and made them slaves... and that claw that would grab people by their heads freaked me out too (at least some of them were grabbed by the head).

And it saddened me to watch The Professor actually get snatched... I wanted to cry.... BUT TOUGH MEN DON'T CRY!!!

Anyway, when the turtles actually confronted the fat guy in a rolling thingy... I knew the battle would be pretty much simplistic from there. But the indestructable vehicle was pretty cool. I actually liked this episode more than I expected.

Just a thought but is it possible that the Garbageman is an Ultrom? They never did show his lower half.

It would have been funny if they modeled the guy to look sorta like Krang's humanoid body suit
