Whoa, thread bumpage!

Anyhoo... Here are my lists.
Old toon:

New toon: (this is hard: generally the character development is so good I can't rank them... so here they are in order of who I identify with.)

Mirage
I've only read Donatello #1 and the #1 issue online...so I really can't judge.

Really my only experince of TMNT has been moslty through the cartoons and Live Action Movies

Classic Toon

Michaelangelo: I loved his personally in the classic cartoon he was fun and always nice and kind to every one and could be pensive and serious at the same time. He was more than just more than just a party turtle he was real sweetie, I also though he was wicked cool Cowabunga!

Leonardo: I loved his voice sooo sexy and I liked that he was the leader. He made a good leader

Raphael: OMG nothing can beat classic toon Raphael, he is a god, I LOVED HIM, and with my second time with watching the old series on DVD took Leonardo's place as second fav to the party dude. He was funny and sassy and no could ever have a good retort for him. Classic Toon Raphael Rocks

Donatello: I like Donatello but I have to say I have a new apprication for him this time around than when I was little, he was surely complex and pragmatic and had the making of an evil genius that was merly hinted at in some cases, tottolly mysterious

Actually in the classic series all the turtles are equal in the "like" department but I liked Michaelangelo a little more.

New Toon

Michaelangelo and Leonardo: are even

I'm very impressed with New toon Leo and unless you want be to write a novel on how much I adore him and why I just gonna say this New Leonardo Rocks. Mikey is still my fav but is obnoxious attitude kinda turned me off at first and his cowardice at times made me cringe, but I evetually began to love him again and he is a wicked kick ass fighter, way better than any incarnation I've seen him in, and he still has a big heart and is a sweetie. I also like how he doesn't just let his Bro's pick on him all the time like in the classic toon.

Donatello I like his voice and his quite relaxed personally, give a girl friend already!

Raphael He can be a jerk and I want to floor him about half the time, but i like his gruff kindness and affection he has for his brothers.

To be honest, I love the four boys equally in just about all the TMNT universes with only slightly more favortism towards Leo.
It's only after watching the new series did I develope a great love for Leo with Don and Mikey about equal and Raph dead last just because he's so irritating. It's a shame because I adore Raph from the original series.

That's pretty much my sentiments exactly. Though the new toon put them level for me. If I had to describe myself it'd be Leo/Mikey - that is, I'm a perfectionist and strictly adhere to my moral values... and yet I have a healthy sense of humor and tend to procrastinate... That gets frustrating, by the way - when you're a perfectionist AND a procrastinator? Hurts my head.

Mirage Comics (from what I've read)

Donatello: I have to say that I am rather impressed with him, he isn't the awkward geek that he is made out to be in most mediums.

Leonardo: He seems to be very perceptive and wicked intelligent in this series, not much gets by him

Raphael: is dead last he is the one turtle that I can say I do not like at all

I have left out Michaelangelo because to be honest from the snypis on the offical site, I don't gewt a particularly strong impression of him

it is almopst like he is part of the back ground or something

So I reseve oppinion on him.

First Live action Movie

They are all Equal with Leonardo being dead last, he came off as being wicked weak and unauthoritive in the movie.

Raphael in the new toon is supposed to be like his Mirage counter-part, and you have read the Mirage comics, do you feel the same kind of dislike for Raphael in the morage comics like you do in the New Toon?

Raphael - cause he does things I wish I could do. Inside, he's alot like me...I hold in anger and explode eventually. Takes awhile, but it happens...just dont be in the range of my fist unless yer a whackbag.

Leo/Donnie: Tied...cause I love em both. I'm a geek like Don and I married a Leo.

Mike: My least fave cause he is so obnoxious..like that damn dog next door who yaps contantly!!

Movie:
Raph, he felt the most real in the first movie. He even moved better, the animatronics seemed better on him!

Donnie- he's as cute as Raph.

Mike- not so annoying as his new toon counterpart, he's smart and funny.

Leo- I'd like to smack him cause he argues with Raph...just listen to Raph's side you dope! He needs to vent his frustration! I still like him, he's a cutie.

Well, Raph in the Mirage comics isn't quite as irritating. He doesn't slap Mikey around like a dick, and he doesn't give Leo as much of a hard time. He's actually pretty coopertive. He just needs his space once in a while which the other guys give him. Heh. I guess it's because Mikey is more serious and Leo is more relaxed and not uptight. That and Raph seems more mature in the comics too than he is (or I should start saying "was") in the new series.

Actually, with how Raph has been lately in the series, he's really maturing and not so irritating anymore. He's moving up to being equally favored along with Don and Mikey.

Old Toon

Raph- Sarcasm at best.

Don- I wish I were smart as he.

Mike- He has a good heart. I think I am like him the most.
Leo- Okay guy, but not my favorte protrayal of Leo.

New Toon

Don and Leo- Don is really a lot different than his old toon self, he's more on the soft spoken side and his OT self seemed a little more....whats the word!?.....out spoken I guess. NT Leo is very skilled and trains very hard to adept in the style of ninjitsu.

Raph- A bit of a fire ball, I never really favor'd these types of characters, but Raph is cool because under the angry tough guy exterior lies a caring, strong hearted character.

Mike- Sometimes his jokes are funny, but sometimes NT Mike is a little obnoxious for my taste.

Not to cop out, but I can't really rank the guys cuz I like them all equally. But if I was forced at gunpoint, I guess I'd give Raph a slight edge only cuz hes kinda nuts...

Donnie is my favorite cuz I can relate the most to him. Kinda quiet but fun and likeable.
Mikey, Raph and Leo are all cool too, just not as cool as Donnie
