For some reason, no Turtles line seems complete without at least one vehicle and playset.

So? What's the harm in talking about it? Is it hurting ANYTHING by talking about it? No.

If you don't like the thread, no one's forcing you to participate in it, my friend. I happen to LIKE guessing, and talking about it. It just amps me up that much more for information. If you don't, that's cool. No harm, no foul. But, regardless of whether Teal is talking out of his ass, or whatever got us to this point, nothing is going to be getting accomplished by the constant back and forth-- other than hurt Internet feelings, and a sense of ZERO accomplishment. That's at worst. At BEST, we talk about what brought us to this little area of the internet to begin with.

Either way, it affects this board, and its inhabitants not one bit.

Anyway, there really is no point to this thread. How are we supposed to discuss something that we know absolutely nothing about? Speculating the movie is one thing, but we don't even know what the characters will look like...so how are we supposed to speculate the toys?

**OFFICIAL** speculation! There will be armored up variants of the turtles with huge disproportionate guns that have missile action feature. The missiles will probably have soft rubber tips for kid's safety. probably for ages 4 and up.

**OFFICIAL** speculation....There will be a turtle blimp, that will feature bombs that can be dropped as you are gliding in the air. After a few years, the toy may start to deflate, leading to a lot of unhappy fans.

The new movie will have turtles that are of the teenage variety who are mutant and know ninja stuff, also the villan will be someone named the shredder who has a foot clan of someform.

Regardless of who said what, the attitude and behavior in this thread is a little disheartening.

I think those who suffer from anxiety regarding this thread's creation need to take a step back and think about what they really are anxious about. I sense some people have perfectionistic tendencies and this thread exacerbates their anxiety.

Whatever the reason, can we not respect and have some compassion for each other?

but in all honest to Teal and Grizzly..i am a glass half full kind of guy..my outlook on life is so positive it cost me a girlfriend (she was very negative)

that said its true this thread is just a waste of time...and while you think it may be nitpicking naming it the "Official 2014 toy thread" leads people on to disapointment..not just here on the drome but anyone who may google the movie looking for information

we know nothing about this movie outside of its casting...to think toys now is just jumping the gun..and teal i mention this before..that while i love your enthusiasm you need to chill..nothing ever came faster by constant posting,wishing, and commenting every second


times like this make me miss movies like the 98 godzilla..yea bad movie. but they kept the lizards look under wraps so well that nothing character wise came out till its official release...i still remember not seeing a single damn toy till weekend of

Unfortunately, that time is passed. Normally we start seeing toys in stores 3 months in advance, sometimes more.

One thing that I've been thinking of - by spring/summer next year, Playmates are going to have the regular Nick figures, 6" 1990 Movie Classics and the reissues of the original 80s figures on shelves. Adding new movie figures to that is just going to dilute the brand further, potentially confusing customers. We might only see a small range of movie figures, maybe the Turtles and whoever the main villain is.

Oh we are 100% getting figures based on the movie. No question at all about that!
