Irma's involvement - Page 6

Considering she kinda c*ckblocked Casey and pulled April away, I'm guessing she's gonna be the kinda character who oversteps her boundaries and is certain she knows whats best for everyone. With that said, she'll prolly be freaked out by the turtles, & maybe she'll try to brainwash April into severing ties with them or something.

She seems smart. I bet she'll figure out about April's constant disappearance and her connection with the turtles soon.

I hear ya there Shark_blade. Loved how her character is turning out so far. She seems like she'll be investigative and rather practical this time around. Granted, we only got a few seconds of screen time with her, but her character made a great first impression on my better half and me.

I hated Irma and Vern in the original series so even though I kinda like the idea of them being other kids at April and Caseys school, I hope they stay as background characters. To many regular humans gets boring, especially annoying ones like those two.

I really liked Irma's cameo in this ep and am excited to see more of her character later on down the road. She definitely seems like the curious type and I can see that curiosity not only getting her into trouble but also leading to how she meets the Turtles.

I agree with the whole she'll catch on vibe.
I think when she looks between April and Casey you can see the cogs working.
I hope thats not me reading too much into a scene, more the animators (who seem to have really done an amazing job on this ep) working overtime and adding something extra to the scene

Oooh no, you're not the only one who got that impression. She seems like a very analytical character to me. We'll probably be seeing more of this. I don't think you're reading too much into this at all. Nice observations btw, guys.

Yeah, seeing that when Casey told Irma to butt out of his business, Irma pulled April away from him.

I'm cool with them introducing new characters just as long as they remember who the show is suppose to be about... but it is nice to see a few more humans roaming around New York... they can't stay hidden forever!!!

I agree with you on that but I still liked the way they handled Irma for her brief appearance. Automatically the best version of Irma!

Her best friend it's avoiding her since her father disappear, she starts to hang out with Casey and not just for tutoring, and she might has noticied her upset... Yeah, That's how it's going to be.

While I haven't seen the episode, I have a couple comments to make based on what other people have said....

First off, I hope she doesn't get training by Splinter. Too many ninja running around seems forced. If anything, I hope she stays more of a realistic helper, if that makes any sense.

Secondly, given what folks have said about her automatic distaste of Casey and Leo's automatic distaste of Casey...well, is it possible that we could see a friend in Irma for Leo or all people? Um...turtles? That would be a very different direction to take it. Trust me, I'm not saying love interest at all, just a confidant that may actually get him.

that's a neat idea...but I really think Mikey needs a human friend the most.

everyone else has a human connection...but Mike.

and he's the turtle that wants friends the most.
