they always make the box pictures better looking then the actual product. i remember seeing a meme about a picture of a supercar like a Lamborghini and on the top it said "concept" then another picture below of a child's pedal car and it said "production" it made me laugh when i saw it but i cannot find it now

I do admit that the labels for these ones suck noodles, which is why I'm painting mine. Maybe I'm a little biased because they're the first Turtles in a scale I actually collect, but sh*t, they're a fat lot better than anything Playmates has released recently, and for the same price. Also remember that Playmates has a nasty habit of not painting lots of parts, including wraps.

Again, if you expect them to be something they're not, of course you're going to be disappointed. They're ten dollar, level 1 basic model kits.

Exactly. I just don't like em. I'll stick with the toys.

Just a heads up for everyone with a Barnes and Noble near them:

I got a Raph sprukit there over the weekend. It was 75% off, so it only cost $2.50. They had the other sets clearanced as well (Halo, etc).

aaaaaaaaaaaaa

I wish my Barnes & Noble hadn't closed. For $2.50, I'd give it a shot.

Yeah, I have not opened it yet, but I mean come on $2.50 is less than the cost of a magazine lol

For the cost of one, you've got all 4. That's dope as hell. I'd go that route if I had the option locally. With the money saved, you could get a bunch of supplies for modification.

If they had more I would have gotten them, but Raph was all by himself.

The only thing is that the bandana and wraps are stickers. I am terrible at applying stickers.
