Hey everyone! Pretty new here. I just wrote my introduction post, but came by here to share a few TMNT shots I am particularly proud of. Toy Photography is a major past time of mine (along with action figure collecting, obviously!), so I do this often, and I hope you enjoy them! Feedback appreciated. Thanks for looking. More to come!

Spoiler:

The lighting on these shots are spectacular. I especially love the lone Raph shot you used for your sig, but I am biased as he's my favorite turtle.

*Shark_Blade* · 10-31-2013, 08:19 PM

Those are magnificent!

Well done Victor.

Victor Von Doom · 10-31-2013, 08:58 PM

Thanks dudes! I do all sorts of shots, not just with TMNT. My main figure collection is actually the Marvel Legends line, but I really like what Playmates have been doing lately. I only wish all of the figures in the cartoon line were as articulated as the turtles themselves.

Do you have any of the SH figuarts power rangers?

Victor Von Doom..........................those shots are superb, man.

Hate to seem like a stalker but do you have an account on Fwoosh and YouTube with TMNT stuff, I've seen some shots with similar lighting and backgrounds and those were all great as well.

Nah, never got into the Power Rangers. Mostly just Marvel Legends, TMNT and Minimates.

I do not have accounts on either of those, sorry. A lot of toy photographers use the same tricks, so lighting schemes can be similar.

Here are my latest shots on the custom rooftop diorama that I finished working on a couple nights ago. Hope you enjoy!

dudeabides · 11-08-2013, 03:26 AM

I dig your style with the whole photography thing man.

Great shot... but the neca april looks a little like peggy bundy imo lol

*Shark_Blade* · 11-09-2013, 09:10 AM

Cheers.

I had to google peggy lol, she's a funny lady.

In terms of the figures above, overall I really like NECA April the best due to the articulation and details. The somewhat sallow face glows strong personality and a bit grim too, kinda reflects well with the mirage turtles and their gritty environment. Beautiful.

2k3 April has the most angelic face but has limited movement, so she's second best.

You're missing the 2007 movie April to complete the 'set' as it were.

*Shark_Blade* · 11-09-2013, 04:52 PM

Nah I purposely exclude her, cause if she's there then I have to include other movie April too, which I don't have.

I think I can say with certainty that's the most seductive April action figure pose I've ever seen, lol.

And that's coming from a woman! Very cool shots! I love the Spiderman pose that Mikey was doing!

*Shark_Blade* · 11-09-2013, 11:49 PM

Thank you Dawnatello!

Haha yeah, that Mirage April just exudes with feminine charm, it's lovely. My fave April figure so far!
