Of course this doesn't in any way hinder the chance for more DLC, or Rayman's chances in general. After his trophy was added, and how popular and iconic he is I'd say his chances are pretty decent (not Wolf/Dixie level, but good nonetheless). He's been trending on twitter for the last 24 hours, if Nintendo liked money they'd hop right on it. There's probably not a character that could get more publicity than Rayman.

However, that is a really interesting video. I loved watching that. It's also useful to note that the Wii U roster has room for two more characters so we might get another DLC... hmm. Wonder who it could be.

I'm not saying we will get another character besides Mewtwo, but my current Top 5 most wanted characters are Dixie Kong, King K. Rool, Mike Jones, Ana/Paula/Kumatora (NOT as a Ness Clone, though), and Paper Mario. If we got another character, I'd want it to be one of those five.

I'm ignorant, but Rayman is as iconic and important to games as Mega Man and Snake. Right. Totally defensible stance to take. If you maybe wanted to posit that Rayman 2 was an incredible leap for 3D game design at the time? I would give that to it. To be plain, Rayman is so forgettable he went from GOTY recognition in 2000 to being a forgotten relic by his next game. When he showed back up it was to essentially be replaced in HIS OWN SERIES! He had a return to form with Origins and Legends, but they're so modern they hardly have meaning to the discussion at hand.

Now...tell us why he's more important and iconic than two of the most beloved icons in games? If you can give me a single solid reason I'll be impressed.

King K. Rool would be so great. I've wanted him in for ages now. He's the only character I'm currently hoping for as far as DLC goes... that isn't third party. But if we did get another, I doubt it'd be a villain? I dunno.

Also, I just noticed dude said "if Nintendo likes money" in regards to Rayman as DLC...even though Origins and Legends are both f*cking bombs and they released on every platform under the sun. Platform exclusive DLC, for a character in a series that doesn't sell multiplat, is going to make Nintendo mad bank? Lol! Deluded as a hell.
